“Casa Limonada exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel's ideal location, mere steps from a pristine beach and surrounded by shops and activities, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable family vacation. The accommodations were impeccable, boasting super comfortable beds, all the amenities of home, and a sparkling clean environment. What truly set Casa Limonada apart was the outstanding service, starting from the reservation process and extending through check-out. The owner's personal touch was remarkable; not only did he ensure a seamless experience, but he also surprised us with an absolutely delicious cake. The gesture spoke volumes about the commitment to guest satisfaction. When we expressed our appreciation, the owner went above and beyond, gifting us another cake on our last day!Our stay at Casa Limonada was nothing short of perfection, and we're already eagerly anticipating our next visit to Lido Key Beach to relish the exceptional hospitality and warmth of this boutique gem.”

“Me and my family stay at this hotel twice a year for a week each time. The front desk service is amazing. Adam the valet remembers who we are and always takes very good care of my cousins. I live local so I enjoy stopping in every now and then to the roof top bar with a great pool, food menu and some great craft cocktails. The lobby bar is my favorite, Sara and Stephanie always take very good care of me and my cousins. Rooms are clean and neat. The lobby is beautiful. This is a great place to visit for a cocktail and apps or to stay for a while.”

Dan was very friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with! We will definitely be back!Rooms: Our bungalow (coconut #3) was so cute and so very clean! It's perfect for a couple and has a full kitchen!”

“8 of us spent a week at Suntan Terrace and it was simply perfect. Right on the beach, family owned and you are treated like family. Older property with updated rooms, and constantly looking to improve the property, very clean, great attention to detail, very quiet area, yet minutes from Venice and short drive to attractions in Sarasota. Walking distance to restaurants, highly recommend Pop’s. If you are looking for an alternative to high rise resorts with too many people, and medium service at best, Suntan is the place.”

“I strolled into The Retreat on my morning hunt for a good coffee while on vacation. I ended up getting an iced latte with oat milk and lavender flavor. The barista was so friendly and customized the drink to my liking. The price was reasonable! $5.88 for the latte including tax. I feel like it's hard to get a latte under $6 these days. The latte was great, and I loved the hint of lavender. I wish I came to this spot earlier on my vacation so that I could drop in every morning. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas. I did not see indoor seating for the coffee house area. Very cute breakfast spot!”

“5 Star Family ResortThe resort is set on a beautiful beach front with amazing sunsets. Plenty of amenities to keep you busy or just enough to allow you to unwind. “I wish I could give 1000000000000 stars. We stayed at the seashell suite. It was amazing, quaint, quiet, and perfection. I spent my mornings in the private hot tub which was an extremely wonderful added bonus to the rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed for snacks or cooking. The pool was cool and refreshing after laying in the hammock. The dock will be special to me forever now after the mornings of coffee watching the paddle boarders and kayakers. The amenities of everything provided went above and beyond. We loved that it was just far away enough from town to being away from the tourist chaos in Siesta Key. 10/10 would recommend and can NOT wait to come back!!! Thank you for the memories.”

“Nice new hotel convenient location of I75. Plenty of shops and restaurants in area. Staff at the hotel were great especially Tim at the registration desk. We had to stay another night and he was great in accommodating us so we didn't have to check out and reregister.”

“Excellent hotel, the room they assigned us was very comfortable and very well equipped. I regret having only been there for one day, we were looking forward to spending more time in that place. The location is great with access to Siesta Key beach with all the services!!! Congratulations.Rooms: The one assigned to us exceeded all of our expectations. Congratulations!!!”

“Second time we've stayed at the Beachfront location. The price is a little hard to swallow but you're really paying for location, essentially saving money on parking at a different beach.. Casey Key Beachfront Resort is basically private beach front. It's just a couple seconds walk down to the clean beach and beautiful water. We snorkeled and swam most of the day and never once did it feel crowded. We collected shells and sharks teeth. They set out lounge chairs and umbrellas each morning for guest use. Each room also has its own private outdoor sitting/lounging area. The rooms are just one room, bed and mini fridge, but they have always been pristine spotless clean. Kerurig with coffee provided. Plenty of towels and linens. Ceiling fan and AC. All bathroom toiletries provided including hair dryer. Bathroom mirror lights up.Can't wait until our travels bring us back down for another stay!”

“Surprised that for a $250/night hotel you receive absolutely no housekeeping services. Regardless of the length of your stay, trash isn't emptied, linens/towels aren't replaced, dehumidifiers aren't checked/emptied. When we complained to management, it was shrugged off. We also gave feedback after our stay about the breakfast, and the response was to basically tell us we didn't experience what we experienced. Wild response to receive from hotel management but alright. Just be forewarned that if you have issues, that is how they'll be addressed.***Update-- reply to the owner's response: Katia, you were contacted by the person who booked and you were the person who responded to them rudely. If you don't want negative reviews, please provide a more positive experience for your guests.Rooms: Absolutely zero housekeeping-- no trash emptied, no toilet paper replenishment, etcccc”

“Very private, my family stayed for 4 nights. The fold out sofa bed mattress is not very comfortable (you can feel the springs) otherwise it served our purpose perfectly. Easy access to Turtle Beach (which was a better time than siesta beach) used the dock when we rented a boat. They also had some beach gear (we bought more and left it behind for the next guest)”

“I arrived around 8:45 am after a stressful morning checking my pet in for surgery nearby and Tim was able to accommodate me right away with a room and even invited me to enjoy breakfast since it wasn't over yet. The breakfast was more than I expected. They had eggs, bacon and/or sausage and hash on the hot bar in addition to the traditional "continental breakfast" items. The room was clean and neat. The location was very convenient for exploring Sarasota and I plan on coming back for another visit under more enjoyable circumstances. I thought the value was outstanding.Rooms: I had a standard double queen room and it was neat and clean.Nearby activities: There are a ton of shopping and dining options near by and a couple of eating options walking distance.”

“We recently stayed for 9 nights. Location is perfect for walking in town or to the big park and marina. Hospitality was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Tatiana at front desk. Also Jose in valet parking is a great guy.My complaints- NO dresser in room and tiny closet. Also room is very poorly lit. Bed frame is kind of low but not terrible. Wink Wink restaurant is decent but a little pricey. Valet parking $35 a day but still worth it. Takes only a few minutes to get ur car. Pool area is nice and has a bar and food.”

“Most holiday inns are clean , upkept and maintained . We booked this hotel because we have had pleasant experiences staying at them before. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The room was dirty , the entire 4th floor smelled like mold, the floor in the room had missing flooring, the bathroom was not cleaned at all, and the pool was drained when we called the day before and was told it was ready for guests. If we would have known this is how our stay was going to be we would have stayed somewhere else. My child’s stylus fell off the bed and when my husband went to get it there was rat poop and cat poop under the chair and around the base of the headboards.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.Rooms: Gross, smells and small”

“Check in was friendly and quick, he even got us in about an hour early. The room smelled old initially, but we got used to it. All appliances (TV, microwave, fridge) worked. The bathroom was very small and the sink was cracked, but it never posed a problem to us. We walked over to the pool and saw what appeared to be homeless guests around there, so we never used the pool, but we didn't mind. We enjoyed our stay here and for the price, we will definitely stay again!”

“First time in Sarasota and the location of this hotel is excellent. We walked to many bars and restaurants that are right around the corner. When we checked in our desired room wasn't available. They said they had an unexpected issue with some rooms and had to give us a double queen on a higher floor. We don't mind a double queen room so it worked out well. That being said multiple floors of this hotel are under construction. I'm not sure why, it seems to be fairly new. During the day construction can be heard and only one elevator works for guests and house keeping staff. The pool is shared with the condos in the building and our room looked out onto the pool and into the condos. I didn't care since I was working on my laptop and had a nice view. I would stay here again, the price was right and the location was good. Valet was only $20 a night and I thought that was a great deal. The valets are really nice guys too.”

“I am currently staying at this hotel and have stayed here in the past. I am shocked to see the negative reviews on here. Sure it's not the Ritz Carlton! You're also not paying those prices. I have seen the owners dump plenty of money into this hotel. New beds and frames. Fresh paint thru out building. New tv's. Updated bathrooms. I live in sarasota. This place is extremely safe! The options in sarasota for fairly priced hotel/motel under $150 per night. This is your best option. Location can't be beat for the price...Don't be a "Karen" and expect Ritz Carlton pampering. ? As for bugs. I have never seen any bugs. That's BS! Overall it's a decent place to stay and staff will try to accommodate you.Rooms: Rooms are comfy.Nearby activities: McDonald's.Taco Bell. Publix supermarket across the street.Safety: Very safeWalkability: Shopping within walking distance.”
