“Very nice gentleman at customer service ( midday 1/20/23). I misread a promotion on a very heavy product. He patiently explained the details. He then volunteered to go to the back of the store and carry this 25 lbs product up to my cart. This store was clean, well stocked, and had an appealing presentation. Visited here again in 2026. Displays are appealing. The deli smelled wonderful. I believe on my next visit that I will go to the deli for the convenience and to save on the cost of dining out.”

“When you head to a grocery store you expect a certain degree of customer service while getting your groceries; helpful, courteous staff, a welcoming atmosphere, maybe a smile & chit chat. I have never personally "shopped" at this Winn Dixie but I can guarantee you'll get more than expected from the staff of this one. My daughter experienced a nightmare of a situation while in PCB & being 5 1/2 hours away from me with no money, no phone, no identification was doubly terrifying. The staff of this store came out to her aid, let her stay in their break room & basically took care of her like a momma would until I could get to her & get her home. My unwavering gratitude to these women can never be expressed adequately. Ms. Judy, Ms. Reba, Ms. Veronica, Ms. Megan & anyone else that she can't remember, y'all are truly angels on earth!!”
“Alot of Beef Jerky is to salty or too sweet or over flavored, this was some of the best flavored Jerky i have encountered, wasn't to hard nor to soft , has a medium build and not like some Jerky thats almost skin that to me has no substance.. One great thing is they have samples for all their inventory on hand and you can try before you buy , i cannot express how important that is and it was the deciding factor in me being a buyer ...The store was in immaculate condition, stock was available and the store was very clean and the help was very hospitable, I will be back and order online 😀”

“This has become my new favorite Dollar General. The store is well stocked, neat and clean. The aisles are wide and spacious. Some DGs are teaming with merchandise and there's a lot of overcrowding. But this location is free of overflow debris which makes for a more pleasant shopping experience. Conveniently located off Front Beach on the way to merging point to the Hathaway Bridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And, it's a great store for quick trips or easy, leisurely browsing.”
“For being a touristy town Dollar General very clean service was relatively fast and had the shelves mostly stocked. I will say parking is a hassle because there’s only like 10 or 12 spots and a lot of cars trying to get in but that’s cause it’s a Dollar General that’s on a beach.”

“We're in PCB for a couple of days, and we're going to need supplies. Take a wild guess what the first thing I and or "most" people look for? Yep, you guessed it! Walmart! Navigating through the aisles with our cart for life essentials like beer, soda and drinking water. Maybe a couple bags of chips, and most importantly, some S. Pellegrino. Because fizzy water is life, specially for me. Left your bathing suit, beach towel, tanning oil or a toothbrush? No problem! This joint is the one stop shop and it's open 24hrs, so yes, why wouldn't they shut down all the mom and pop grocery shops that are the shining beacon of inefficiency. Might as well order them on Amazon, it'll get the before their next shipment comes in. Anyway, I had a pretty pleasant shopping experience here. It wasn't too too crowded, probably because it wasn't peak season. The aisles were neat and well taken cared of. The self check out was painless and our shopping was brief and painless. “I was on vacation and my battery died on me, I ended up here at Walmart. And I believe his name was Dean the coach in the Autocare center helped us. He was the nicest and most polite person I've ever met at Walmart. He helped with every part of it and got my car straight in to get the battery changed out. Then Thanked me for coming in and talked with us a little bit longer while we was picking up the car. He really made a difference that day, every other Walmart I've been to they always seem so super busy and no care at all. But he took the time to really help us and I couldn't have been anymore pleased as I was that day. Thank you for helping and making us feel important. Walmart definitely needs more people like you!”
“I like going to Tom Thumb. I stop in for Red Bulls, Yogurt, Candy, snacks and Gas. The restrooms are most always spotless an if there not, someone will get right on it! The employee's are really cool. I guess because I stop in so much you get to know them some. Gas prices fluctuate a good bit, but I suppose it's that way everywhere. I do think the employee's take pride in the cleanliness of the store and at the pumps!”

She always has such a positive attitude and a cheerful smile! Her and another associate have the most playful banter and I truly appreciate all of the staff at the 818 Walmart pharmacy… They are always patient and kind. I honestly look forward to filling my prescriptions just because of the staff! Hopefully the people that have reviewed them negatively will come around and see them in a different perspective.”
The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
