Grocery Stores in Parrish, FL

Still choose this one over Palmetto, even though I am literally next to that store. It's older, very dingy and dirty, and the turnover of staff since January has brought a very dark and angry cloud to that store (Palmetto).

Love the new store. All aisles are wider. Layout familiar to other locations. Really appreciate self-checkout. While I understand the cashiers are being held accountable for their scanning times, I absolutely LOATHE that my purchase is often bounced, bruised, and haphazardly 'chucked' into the awaiting trolley. I don't spend my time selecting good produce, only to arrive home to it battered and beaten. Sign me up for self-checkout every time.

Updates 7/26/26: I still drive to the Parrish location over the closer Palmetto store. Still for the same reasons. I may be the only one, but at ALDI specifically, self-checkout RULES! Noone can bruise or bounce my fresh produce, they can't place a gallon of milk on my tortilla chips, nor can they place food items with cleaning products!”

“While the store has a pretty much personally owned convenience store have to say the food is very good. At first was a little worried as you can't help but think that the food you order may not be very healthful but after ordering a few burritos, tacos and stuff have to say I was happily surprised and stuffed and the price was a decent amount. I do have to say though that the man I ordered from could use a touch of customer service skills as while he wasn't insulting he was a little pushy when I was making my order which can push some customers the wrong way. Also the store does have a decent inventory of Mexican products you can't find in most other stores around here so another plus in my book.”

“I had a great shopping experience at Publix. The store was clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with everything I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and checkout was quick and smooth. Publix continues to deliver great customer service and quality products. I'll definitely keep coming back for my grocery needs!”

“When you are out this way and you need fuel, this is the only place for several miles around. Stop in and top off here, or you may run empty. We often stop on our motorcycles because we love the 2 lanes out this way. Old school pumps here, nothing fancy. A good stop off for a beverage or snack also.”

“Overall what you'd expect from a General Dollar store as while not the cleanest or easily accessible it had what I needed for a decent price(Drinks/Teas/Snacks). People have to realize this isn't a Publix/Aldi/Winn-Dixie store and have to understand it doesn't stock on all the products those other stores do. Mixed experience with the staff as both helpful and apathetic to customers though worked at a convenience store in my youth so understand the attitude as well. Easy access as to where I live which is one reason why I keep coming back if nothing else though obviously if I needed anything else like real food then I go and you should as well should go to one of the previously mentioned stores mentioned earlier.”
