The said the curry was different from Indian curry, but she really enjoyed it. We split a fried cheesecake. The cheesecake was a little bland. We decided next time we will spread jam on it. Anxious to try some of the other items on the menu. Certainly worth checking out.”

It gives her lot's of variety that she may not be able to have if she were to shop at a regular grocery store. We try to visit the store every time we come to Pensacola.     “Asia Oriental Market is located off Cervantes/Mobile Hwy and has a very large selection of canned/bottled goods from all over the world as well as some fresh vegetables, fish, crabs, roasted duck and roasted pork. It is very similar in stock to the other Asian markets in town, but I'm a smaller facility. The bahn mi roasted pork sandwich was 4.00. It is an experience to go and shop there. The inside is very crowded with tight aisles overflowing and it is a little different to see them process the meats they sell right out in the open. There is not any signage in English. If they made things more spacious and put some english signage up and maybe changed the way the store was laid out it would help. Extremely nice staff in our experience today.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
