“The new female manager is very nice and helpful this location is alot cleaner and more organized and has so much more products than it ever has before we use to only visit the Davis highway location bc honestly this one kind of sucked but now we frequent this location. The kids love it bc there is always new stuff out!”

“I live very close to this Dollar General so I am there OFTEN. Multiple times a week. I don’t ever think about leaving reviews because I didn’t think it would matter. People will go there no matter what, right? After what I witnessed tonight, I could not stop myself. The employees are so patient and kind. They work as quickly as possible while maintaining great customer service. Even when RUDE people are LOUDLY complaining about other people just trying to pay. There is one register, because they had to shut the self pay down due to theft. I never go in there in a hurry, especially when I see 10+ cars in the lot. Because CLEARLY that is going to take some time. This is the cleanest, most organized, and customer service based DG I’ve ever been in. The workers are constantly restocking, making displays look amazing, and taking care of customers. I truly don’t know how the workers there deal with the very rude and disrespectful people that come in there. They are incredible. I don’t know if this review will make it to management or corporate, but as a frequent shopper, I would love to make sure they are recognized. I will continue to frequent this store and always show appreciation for the people who truly make the store great.”
“I went to the Dollar General at 8105 Scenic Highway in Pensacola and I’ve got to tell you it is the cleanest Dollar General I have ever seen! Everything is where it should be. The shelves are nice and neat. There’s not a bunch of junk in the middle of the aisles. It was just amazing!”

“From the view of a snowbird with experience visiting Dollar general stores from Maine to Texas. This store has forced me to reevaluate my previous view of Dollar general. The stores in Maine could use this store as a template. To corporate leadership, I would say PLEASE let your store invest more in personnel. It would drastically increase your sales and make you a serious competitor to the big stores such as target and Walmart. I would love to make this store my sole supply source”
“Good selection. Not as much fun to shop here anymore. I used to go nuts when wvwrything eas $1.00! Especially frustrating to know what the prices are now that they've changed them all. And they've moved more expensive stuff all over the store, not just on the $5 aisle, which now goes way above $5!”
“LOVE! Cute little DG right off Gulf beach highway on the way to the Beach! This location is a free standing building with a yuge parking lot right off GBH easy in & out with excellent service! The ladies that work here greeted us upon arrival, were very professional, chatty & upbeat, checked us out smiles all around. Love happy people that enjoy their workday. :)) Very nice DG & it was packed to the gills with inventory, lots of beachy stuff, floats, chairs, tikis, BBQ goodies, pool noodles which is exactly what we were looking for! We found the MEGA pool noodles, some floats, and tons of snacks for the beach. They have an enormous food section with beer & wine! Hubby even found something for our kitties! haha. We both agreed this was a great stop for the beach! Will return! Highly recommend!”
“We stopped in for a few things on 5/12/23, and had a great experience. I felt like the cashier really appreciated us, and treated us like family. As we go about our busy lives, people tend to not interact much with store associates. Store associates need to know that they are appreciated also, so we try to interact with others in a positive way, hoping to brighten their day. I feel like our visit that day did just that, and also brightened our day!”
“Very clean well organized store very helpful employees I highly recommend this store for shopping. I don't recommend the store at pine Forest Rd and longleaf Dr I would not go there unless you like rude management and don't go in there with any bills bigger than a 20 bill management refuse to take a 50 or a 100 dollar bill witch I think is stupid and bad management”
“Store at the corner of Fairfield Drive in S St. New store. Great when they first opened. Inside and outside kept up nice and friendly staff. Staff is still nice. However it looks like a trash heap outside all the time. Trash in the parking lot. trash behind the building completely unsatisfactory at this point. Manager, get it right.Update five days later.Still looks like a garbage dump outback and in the surrounding grassy areas. Come on y’all there’s no way you can’t see it.another update. A week or so ago they cleaned it up good job y’all. Couple days later I saw a person outside with a trash bag and a pick up stick getting all the trash from the landscaping. Looks like you’re gonna be a good neighbor after all.And now you’re starting to pile cardboard boxes out back again you can’t walk another 25 feet and put it in the garbage bin where it belongs? “Look is what it is is the Dollar general I went in for an ATM but they didn't have an ATM but they did let me purchase a couple sodas and full 40 bucks off my card which I was good for you know his own power of your own cash lol but yeah it was okay I mean it's kind of in the busy area of mixed Urban environment but nice service and the girl's name was Nicole and she was wonderfully pleasant”

“This DG location is an older remodeled free standing building. It's YUGE! It has a yuge food section with a cold food section. The place is PACKED with inventory. Jammed packed! They have a yuge home goods section & all their Halloween merchandise out, plus, they already have all their Christmas merchandise out too. There were candles everywhere but not the ones I love, ugh. Recommend.”
“I'm a CSL plasma platinum member and as a Olympic trained athlete as a young man, I always consider actions as a win win for all parties involved, so I can purchase a small list of items that are cash only and receive cash back to pay bills without a electronic payment fee. As a frugal consumer I research then buy what is usable and lasting. This is win win win as it shows my efforts to buy USAade goods that last and do my part I'm keeping things usable out of the dump”
“Once you've shopped here for a while and get to know their inventory, you also learn that they have what you came in for about 85% of the time and their dairy never lasts until the printed date, but the staff are awesome, at least at this location.”
