103 Rodgers Blvd, ChieflandAs a first time dog mom to a high maintenance puppy, I highly recommend Kathy, etal for grooming. They noticed possible ear infection in my pup. I followed up with Vet, who confirmed and now puppy is on the mend! Thank you The Dog Shoppe...we shall return ✌🐶

Chiefland Animal Hospital
2630 N Young Blvd, ChieflandEach time I bring Sonny to this office I walk away so happy. The vets, techs and the front staff are great. I do have a couple of things I’d like to bring up however. The wait time is always pretty long. My dog quivers his entire visit . I could take him outside but I figure they might call us in.
I did call once inquiring about possible dog sitter suggestions and asked them to check their pin board. Lady said there were none. But I had seem them before and was just there yesterday and jotted down the sitter information. Had I been given the information I wouldn’t of had to bring dads dog to Gainsville for sitting last week. Only other thing is tech went to trim his nails and the first one got the quick. I was like…no more. I was a bather and never quicked a nail. If you start doing it small and stop when you see the black spot no quick will get clipped. So I did it myself. Love their lighting. Must irriterate how awesome the vets are. Absolutely very personable and professional.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Treasure Camp
15249 NW 46th Ln, ChieflandThey have an awesome Fry cook. Gator tail was perfect along with the shrimp. Gator tail will be very rubbery if over cooked. Steaks came out med-well instead of med-rare that we ordered. Waitress was awesome and got it taken care of immediately. We live about 90 miles away but will make a trip back now and then

Bar-B-Q Bill's
1901 N Young Blvd, ChieflandI had breakfast at BBQ Bill's restaurant. I had the large order of biscuits and gravy. Biscuits weren't that good! Hardee's has much better biscuits. And you get more with the Hardee's big breakfast for less because no trip required and Hardee's gives a seniors and veterans discount! So from now on I will take my business and money to Hardee's that honors veterans and seniors, requires not tipping, and gives you a fantastic biscuit and gravy, eggs, sausage, ham,or bacon, plus gives tater tots faster service and no waiting for a waitress to bring you your bill so you can pay and leave!
