After we received a call the reservation was made , all delivery details were provided by the couriers services as you promised and it took about 4 hours for him to get to our newest airport then we got a call from them saying they will be at our doorstep in 20 minutes and before we knew it they got here and all I didn’t was signed some paperwork and show proof of ID and got her with the crate and food she came with along side her paperwork . I am so grateful and for that reason have recommended you to other friends hopefully they contact you to get their Christmas babies

872 SW Main Blvd, Lake CityI did not use the service but I want to tell everyone about a incident that happened on Monday the 15th about 5:00 pm ish.
I was towing my travel trailer along rt41 in lake city when a tire shredded on the trailer and caused me to stop in the middle of the road in front of
THE PET SPOT.I pulled into parking lot and could not believe how bad this tire got destroyed.I realized I had no jack or tools to change it out.
I went into THE PET SPOT to first ask if I could park there while I tried to get someone ( AAA) to come change the tire. The owner and two young lady's were getting ready to go home for the day.To make a long story short,the owner took out his hydraulic jack from his cargo trailer and some tools he had to remove the tire (s). One of the young lady's called her dad to come help and within minutes he was there with an impact gun and socket, him (dad ) and the owner of THE PET SPOT changed the bad tire with the spare and refused to take any money offered and sent us on our way.
I can not thank them all enough for the kindness they showed us. Without them I don't know what I would of done. ( AAA said I have a membership but it does not cover the trailer I was towing. I will be canceling my membership on Tuesday.)
I didn't get any names but if you see this review, please know that we appreciate all you did for us, you were truly God sent.

The entire staff is amazing; they are attentive and fully answer all of our questions. The service fees and medication costs are appropriate for the times. They always make time for us when an emergent need is raised. Our dog is apprehensive around strangers but she loves going for appointments there. She's the first one in our when we tell her we're going and the first out of our car and to their front door when we get there.

222 Co Rd 252B, Lake CityI really want to take a moment to brag about Compassion Veterinary Hospital (formerly Addison Animal Hospital).
My sweet baby, Cinder had a growth pop up on her eye a few months ago. As a precaution, I wanted to get it look at as she has a history of cancer. The first place I went to was Suwannee Oaks, Cinders former vet. I was quoted about $780 to have the spot removed. For me personally, that’s a steep amount to just come up with on the spot, so I decided to look around. I called Compassion and scheduled an office visit.
Talk about a great first impression. I’m a busy gal with a full-time job and responsibilities. Taking off work for a vet visit isn’t easy for me. Compassion not only saw Cinder as a patient, but kept her for the day so I didn’t have to take off work, at no extra charge! But what really sold me is when I came to pick her up. The woman at the front desk gushed over my baby and even showed me a cute video she took of Cinder, burying herself under a blanket they gave her. When I asked about the surgery, they told me they could do it and for a far more reasonable price. I immediately scheduled the surgery.
When I returned to Compassions for Cinders surgery, the first thing I noticed is how thorough everyone is. The front desk greeted me and confirmed my phone number so they could text me with updates on Cinders surgery (which I LOVED). The vet tech who brought Cinder back asked me for a full history and if she had any previous illnesses. I told her I suspected she may have a UTI due to recent symptoms I noticed. From there, I left my baby with them and waited to hear back.
It wasn’t long after drop off that I received a text from them letting me know that everything went well. I was told to come back around 4pm to pick her up. Now here comes the good part. It was only $480. For $480, they not only removed her growth, but that included pain meds, a cone, a nail trim, and antibiotics for the UTI that I had suspected. I saved $300 and anything I thought needed to be cared for my baby was addressed. I felt comfortable leaving her with them and relieved with the updates they sent me.
Overall, I will be transferring my dogs medical records to Compassion and recommend them to anyone who needs a vet. Thank you Compassion Veterinary Hospital Team!

This most recent visit with my pooch, I had the Burger of the month for July 2026? The Heat - highly recommended. The hazerface hazy was excellent and got one of my very few five star ratings on Untappd. The Beer list is short, but each one is usually well done. The food is consistent and good and the place is dog friendly.

I ordered the cheese dip and nachos to begin with because… well it’s the law. Both the cheese dip and the salsa were very good, Had a good flavor, it was just a little spicy to me, however I don’t eat much hot spicy food.
I had the Caribeña Steak Platter and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! I added a side of grilled shrimp. The meat was very thin, had a wonderful flavor and was very tender. I squeezed some lime over the shrimp, steak and avocado. The lime Was the perfect finish in touch for each. I’m a bit of a shrimp snob, but these shrimp were cooked perfectly, firm but not rubbery and light seasoning.
The yucca was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; wonderful! The fried plantains Were, without a doubt, the best that I’ve ever had.
I was getting full so I took the black beans and rice to-go after I tasted them. The rice was light and fluffy with a excellent flavor. The black beans were creamy with a deep rich flavor.
I wanted something that they made in house for dessert unfortunately they were out of flan So I tried their ChimiCheesecake. Which is a frozen tortilla filled with cheesecake and then deep-fried. Excellent!
