Some days, the line is long; but someone usually jumps right in to speed things up (unless they get a big shipment in; even still, they do jump in if things get to moving too slowly, but that's how it goes when it's not some bigass store).”

Susan the manager on duty is running back and forth putting out fires and dealing with not to happy customers. When my turn comes this lovely woman greats me like I am the first shopper of the day smiles and resolves my issue above and beyond what she was obligated to do and mine you it all involved a package of hotdogs and sausage. I went to customer service counter and was greated by Afsana who took care of me immediately as Susan had directed, without delay. I had to give Susan a warm hug on the way out because she treats everyone as if she just walked in the door. Ms. Marcy Vickers, please thank Susan and Afsana personally for me. I wish I could shop here regularly but I am visiting from Georgia. What a great welcome to Panellis Park Florida”

    “The shelves are usually fully stocked and I can find what I need here when I can't find it anywhere else. Bakery and deli always have fresh products and a nice selection. BOGO deals are nice. Parking can be a nightmare depending on time/day you go. Best time is during the week mid morning or afternoon. Publix employees are friendly and helpful for the most part. Self check out is nice when you've only got a few items. Would not recommend if you have a full cart.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.   • Loblaw Plans to Open 70 New Stores and Spend $2.4 Billion in 2026

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
