“This place has a lot of clothes and is clean, but I don't like this Goodwill as much as I do the one over in Tampa/Oldsmar. I like a lot of miscellaneous old stuff in good condition and they don't have that much at this store. I did notice the prices are getting to be a disappointment and it's really sad. at one time this place used to be out to help people and sell things cheaply and now the price is up and they still ask you to donate that's a disappointment and an aggravation. they should just have the container on the desk like they used to not every time you go to the register would you like to round it off to the nearest such and such no especially as much as I shop up there. They're not out to help people like they used to. It's just became this big money chain.
Why do your prices have to keep going up when you get the stuff for free? Another thing that bothers me is I've fought three drills there which is my fault for going back and buying another one and then seeing another one that looked really nice but basically they sit in my closet now and I just wanna throw them in the trash. I think you should be able to bring something that's broken back and trade it for the same price of something else that you might want in the store. There's no return thing for something like that is very unfair.
You can't try a drill out in the store if it has an uncharged battery. I believe if you bring the item back within the week, I think a manager should check out the situation.
I have spent hundreds of dollars there.”
“I absolutely love shopping at Hidden Gem Consignment. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and kindness—the owner and staff truly make you feel like family. Dropping off consignment items is a breeze, and their online portal makes it easy to track your sales and balances, which is such a thoughtful touch.
What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. I recently learned that the owner is a survivor of domestic violence—a heartbreaking experience no one should have to endure. Instead of letting that pain define her, she’s chosen to turn it into purpose. She’s using her journey to uplift and support others who are going through similar situations, and that strength is nothing short of inspiring.
Hidden Gem Consignment isn’t just a store—it’s a space filled with resilience, compassion, and community. I’m so grateful to support a business that stands for something so meaningful.”
“Maha was amazing! She was very friendly & extremely helpful! Even though we came in on a Sunday & she was there alone! The suit selection was great & we found what we were looking for! Walked out with a groom's suit & will return next weekend for 4 groomsmen suits! ??”
“This is a cool store and had some great little finds, however…better suited for Disney fans rather than Antique enthusiasts! What is super cool about this place is there are old Disney props from the Parks and Disney paraphernalia everywhere!! If you love Mickey, you want to stop at this Antique Mall right off the I-4 in Lakeland, it’s def worth checking out!!”
“This review is just for an employee named JESSICA!!! Jessica went above and beyond showing my son so much kindness!! Every time we visit, he goes straight for the books looking for Diary of a Wimpy Kid story he doesn’t have. He hasn’t had much luck our last few visits, but he always likes to ask an employee just incase. Today was no different, he went straight for the books and nothing. So he asked JESSICA. Not only did she remember him but she had one back there and SHE bought it for him ! She has no idea how thankful he is and how she’s made his day!”
“Dave was very accommodating. Good deals and nice inventory. I would need a bigger truck to keep my wife happy with all the things she would have liked to bring home.
Thank Dave!!!”
