I’ve taken my cat a few times also and same thing just great care. I drive from St.pete to this office not just for the amazing care but the fair pricing. I also never feel uncomfortable discussing pricing and figuring out what medicines or procedures are a priority so I can budget for future appointments. Really, I have nothing but amazing things to say about the entire office, great group of caring, kind, and knowledgeable women including the doctors and other staff.”

“We were referred this vet from a coworker and we could not have been more pleased with our experience this morning. Our dog Buster was limping so we took him to this vet for an exam. The vet techs and the vet were so caring with Buster and he was so comfortable with them - he had no hesitation going back for his exam. They were very up front with us about cost and gave us options with the pricing laid out for us. My precious vet experience was a surprise bill at the end for tests we didn’t know the vet would perform but this was not the case here. I would drive an hour+ to see this vet, we could not be more pleased with our visit and the care from the entire staff. Highly recommend!”

“I can't say enough glowing things about the staff here. I had to put my fur baby down and they were amazing at such an emotional time . They are a 24 hour vet. But their prices were reasonable. So many places will charge you an arm and a leg because they know you don't have a choice. That is not the case here. They are compassionate. They have so many specialist on staff . I highly highly recommend them if you are in a time of need.”

“I called Gulf Coast when my dog, Jackson was having an emergency and my typical vet couldn't take us. Gulf Coast took us right away and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in the door, the girls at the front desk were so welcoming and the technician that helped us was so sweet and caring towards my pup and I. Then we met Dr. Hamilton. Jackson is almost 14 years old and I have NEVER met a vet like Dr. Hamilton. He was the kindest person and took so much care in examining Jackson and learning about his medical history. I will never forget the concern he had for Jackson's current condition and providing explanations and details in ways for me to understand. I was very overwhelmed with the level of care Dr. Hamilton and the staff provided us and we will absolutely, without a second thought, be using this veterinarian office moving forward. I am so thankful to have found them!”

“I can’t speak highly enough about my experience today. My cat Lily is 10, almost 11 years old and doesn’t have a good track record with the vet. Today was my first time at Hughes animal clinic and I don’t think I will take my cat anywhere else again. The whole staff deeply cares about animals and the doctor was sharing how this is a fear free clinic and he has literally taken classes to help learn this method so the animals aren’t scared. My cats last trip to our prior vet, she was terrified. She had peed all over herself. She was hissing, biting, and scratching, and our prior vet just didn’t really seem to care that she was so uncomfortable and scared and was being a bit rough with her. I had given her some gabapentin before coming in today due to Dr. Hughes recommendation. Lily was so good with how she handled everything and the staff knew she didn’t handle the vet good in the past so, they gave her a warm towel with cat pheromones to keep her calm. While we were waiting to pay and she was back in her carrier, they put some cotton balls soaked in the pheromones in her carrier so she wasn’t uncomfortable at any point. I feel so relieved to know I finally found somewhere that cares deeply about the animals that come in!! Lily and I couldn’t be more grateful!❤️”
“TLC is a Great Veterinary Clinic, with wonderfu trustworthy Vets and Staff. I can always call ahead and stop by to pick up meds or if I need an appointment I can get my Furbabies in quickly. What a difference from my last Vets Office. I suggest you go be them a call to schedule an appointment for your Furbaby or Furbabies.”

We recently moved and my parents thought they would never find a veterinarian as good as the one they had been taking our pets to for close to 50 yrs (And yes they did) This woman is truly wonderful.”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took such good care of my Chihuahua that he totally forget he was a Chihuahua, where no snips happened which I was sure would of happened. But they took care of all my needs and concerns and all with a big smile on their faces and I left not only with a totally different dog but more knowledgeable about him. “My Cinnamon is an anxious ball of anxiety in a pitbull body. The staff here is amazing with my baby. I have called last minute because my daughter was in the hospital and I needed boarding and it was never a question. The vet tech made sure he had a pocket full of the treats Cinnie likes best to help calm her. When Cinnie was attacked my another dog, they fit her in ASAP to be looked over. She was in pain and growling, and the staff never flinched. They just kept telling her she was a good girl and cleaning her up. I won't bring my animals anywhere else.”
