“Mavis Tire and Brakes is far more than a tire and brakes store as the sign says. Moving to Sarasota I was looking for a total service facility that that could address my auto needs. I needed help removing license plates to replace with Florida plates. They went above and beyond the call to remove the old plates and install the new plates. I had a terrific experience and I will definitely use them for all my future auto needs from engine repair to electrical and to tires and brake repair.”

“I was having trouble with my car AC and Aamco quoted me $2,000 for a repair and told me that my recent paint job ruined my compressor. I got a second opinion from these guys after they were recommended to me. I was out the door with running AC for $90. They found a leak which they repaired and then refilled my refrigerant. Unfortunately, the AC stopped working a couple of weeks later and I brought it back. They found that the relay needed to be replaced and I was out the door for an extremely reasonable price. The employees are honest, kind, and take the time to find out what’s wrong with your vehicle. I highly recommend and will be coming back for all my future mechanic and tire needs”

“I had just had two vehicles serviced with new tires, alignment, and oil change. Thomas, the Service Manager, was outstanding! I was very needy to say the least and he made feel appreciated and valued throughout the whole process. Even while faced with many interruptions and additional customers he remained professional and gracious throughout my entire experience. When I had my second vehicle serviced I actually missed my appointment due to personal issue. When I called to reschedule, he was very supportive and ensured me they would get me taken care of scheduling me first thing the next morning.
