I stopped and talked to Steve, he obviously knew his business and assured me a painless experience. I dropped my truck on a Monday and received a call to come pick it up on Thursday. I've waited a couple months just to ensure issues didn't crop up up after some use.The transmission functions flawlessly and has zero shift flare that is experienced with factory built 68rfe's. “I found Barbic via the internet without any personal reference from someone who had had work done successfully. Trying to find someone to trust with the recommendation to rebuild or replace a transmission in a vehicle is not easy, and I was super happy to find Gary. Gary was very knowledgeable with our particular vehicle (2003 Toyota Tundra) and I believe he did a great job of pricing out the various options and explaining the value of doing the job in different way. Ultimately, Barbic did a full rebuild of our transmission with new parts, instead of putting in a used transmission and is backing it with a warranty. The work was not cheap but I believe in the product and Gary's shop to back up their work. The truck drives great and was worth rebuilding the value into.”

“Everyone is very professional. I feel very confident that they are being honest with what work needs to get done. Team keeps you informed as to what is being done, when it's completed with an email, text message and phone call. Their facility is very clean for a service center. They have a shuttle service to get you where you need to be and will pick you back up to get your car. Was very important to me, since I only have my one car most of the time. I would highly recommend them for foreign and domestic vehicles. I have a Mercedes Benz and it's not easy to find someone in the area that can work on this car other than the dealership.They had to replace my motor mounts, which is a rather extensive repair.”

“Thank you Jim for helping me with my Ford Cmax!My hybrid car had a big problem with the brakes. I couldn't drive my car feeling unsafe for myself and the others. I have brought the car previously to 2 other mechanics and they were not able to solve the problem, while they still invoice me. Ford dealership had a 45 day waiting list for the evaluation and a repair.Jim and his mechanic team were able to do all the needed repairs including the change of the Abs unit and reprogram it for a reasonable price considering it was a major issue. I can finally drive with a feeling of safety and I am happy I was able to find a mechanic that I can trust. The all team is nice, the repairs advisor communicates well, the billing is done with a detailed explanation what you pay for, the job comes with customer satisfaction and guarantee on the repairs.The team never pushed me on my experience with them, they have tried their best to find different solutions before to evaluate a complete change on the electric abs system unit. The lady in charge of the billing is nice.It seems to me that Jim has quite a bit of tools, mechanics, machines, software, experience and more to work on cars. I have known Jim the owner of 'Jim's Auto' since 1984 and not only sent my own vehicles to Jim's but I ALWAYS have recomended Jim's shop to any women who are needing their vehicle repaired. I have been a mechanic for going on 50 years and have yet to find a shop owner as knowkedgable and honest as Jim (The owner) . I found these reviews as I was going to call Jim since I've moved to Nothern FL. and my back has debilitated me. I'm looking at a five hour trip to take one of my vehicles to JIm as I have not been able to find a local reputable shop since leaving Sarasota. That includes dealerships. The only other shop I use is Val's in Cheifland, FL for the same moral reasons. Why go to Jim's while Val's is hours closer ? Because the repair is not covered at Val's and Jim is better suited. I am an ASE medium heavy master certified truck tech, master transport bus tech, ASE cert auto tech, certified in man carrying equipment for FP&L plus derricks etc. Certified welder, also cert. in HP steam pipe, a universally certified A/C tech., including certification in commercial chiller units. So, what I mean is I can speak no higher of any mechanic I know still living . Jim has always been a top notch mechanic, person and the most honest buisness owner I have ever known . The FEW reveiws that reflected otherwise is why I felt it nessisary to write this reveiw . The 'people' who work for Jim I cannot speak for as I don't know them, let me add Jim tends to be out working on customer cars giving them the best personnal attention and service he can as that is just .....Jim. We contacted Brian and explained our situation on getting back to Michigan as we were in a pinch. All I can say is they go above and beyond. “Great expedient service be aware however they will charge you a good markup price for a new air filter to the tune of $36.99. They are easy to replace & you can probably find one for cheaper at your local auto parts store.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement”

“I took my 370z to AAMCO with 7 speed automatic transmission that would not shift into any higher than 3rd gear. Diagnostic Code P0720 and P0500 and they said transmission (60,000 miles) has sparkly glitter in transmission fluid and required new $8k transmission and valve assembly. I paid $500 for that diagnosis and then took the car to Jeff at Integrity who has been in business for 40 years. Jeff did research on the code and found a manufacturer tech bulletin explaining to change out the TCM Transmission Control Module and the valve assembly. Jeff installed brand new TCM and Valve assembly. Car is now like new! No new transmission required! Total Cost $2,900 including labor and tax. I would recommend Integrity to anyone needing transmission work.Service: Transmission”

“I went in to the AAMMCO off Clark road on Tuesday with some car troubles. I knew I had some big issues with my truck that may take a while. Evan was up front waiting for me with a happy face, he took great care of me and did some testing completely free and followed up with a detailed report as to what exactly was wrong. After leaving my car, Evan followed up with me with updates and had the crew jump right on it to get my car fixed. I thought it would be done on Friday and they had it fixed by Wednesday afternoon and Evan was even willing to stay late to help me out knowing how troubling car issues is.
