“Brought my 2015 Sierra 2500 in because 5th and 6th gears were disengaging and All I can say is that the service was outstanding, Everything was explained to me I was given options without any sales pressure, truck was turned around in 3 days in time for me to make my trip. Had also spoken to them a couple of years ago about them doing other work to my truck , they said they would do it if i wanted but said i would be happier with other options which they did not do. I was sold that day forward. Outstanding work and service at a Fair price......”
“Tim and Dawn are an AWESOME duo! They were very knowledgeable, transparent , and most importantly, HONEST. They got my Silverado 6l80 transmission back shifting smooth and gave me wise suggestions to make it last longer! While other shops told me I would need a full transmission rebuild, Tim and his GREAT crew of mechanics got down to the root of the problem and had me back rolling a few days after the diagnosis. “To whom it may be of help. I have known Jim the owner of 'Jim's Auto' since 1984 and not only sent my own vehicles to Jim's but I ALWAYS have recomended Jim's shop to any women who are needing their vehicle repaired. I have been a mechanic for going on 50 years and have yet to find a shop owner as knowkedgable and honest as Jim (The owner) . I found these reviews as I was going to call Jim since I've moved to Nothern FL. and my back has debilitated me. I'm looking at a five hour trip to take one of my vehicles to JIm as I have not been able to find a local reputable shop since leaving Sarasota. That includes dealerships. The only other shop I use is Val's in Cheifland, FL for the same moral reasons. Why go to Jim's while Val's is hours closer ? Because the repair is not covered at Val's and Jim is better suited. I am an ASE medium heavy master certified truck tech, master transport bus tech, ASE cert auto tech, certified in man carrying equipment for FP&L plus derricks etc. Certified welder, also cert. in HP steam pipe, a universally certified A/C tech., including certification in commercial chiller units. So, what I mean is I can speak no higher of any mechanic I know still living . Jim has always been a top notch mechanic, person and the most honest buisness owner I have ever known . The FEW reveiws that reflected otherwise is why I felt it nessisary to write this reveiw . The 'people' who work for Jim I cannot speak for as I don't know them, let me add Jim tends to be out working on customer cars giving them the best personnal attention and service he can as that is just .....Jim. If you have an 'issue' talk to Jim and I can assure you you will not regret it. Sincerly, Vern”

“Brought my SUV in due to coolant fluid leaking on my garage floor. Aamco was able to get me in same day and perform a compression test to determine the area of the leak. Split in the radiator hose was the culprit and repairs were completed in about 3 hours. Couldn’t ask for nicer folks running the shop to make me feel like my vehicle was a priority. Would highly recommend for any type of under the hood service required for your vehicle.”
“These guys are great! Everyone in the area told me it would take 2 days to a week before they could get my truck in the shop just to diagnose it. I called and spoke with Rita. She told me they'll have it diagnosed today and parts ordered by end of day. Took almost a day to get the part from the dealer, but had me out in 2 days.... when others wouldn't even get me in before two days. Thanks you guys. I hope not too come back (means my truck stays working). But if I do break down you'll be my first call!”
