“My husband and I moved here 5 weeks,ago from South Florida.There was a communication error from my Doctor which pharmacy my prescriptions were sent Within minutes of my Dr visit I received a personalized message that Mt Dora pharmacy was filling my prescriptions and they would be ready soon I then received a call from the pharmacist who was so pleasant and cheerful that he needed my insurance information. Also, Explained to me that a refill for one of my other prescriptions were being done at another pharmacy said he would PERSONALLY call the other pharmacy to check. We went to go pickup the prescriptions and there also waiting for us was the prescription that I would have had to travel further to pick up. They were Sooooo pleasant and made the whole experience easy,caring and again the service,was exceptional Thank you! you will feel like u were treated like family”

“I used to go through Wmart pharmacy and I switched to Bay pharmacy and haven't looked back.. they have all my meds without have to order them like others.. excellent pharmacist you can actually speak to.. you can ask questions about meds you may that may work for you or concerns without just being a number.. these people actually take the time to learn your name.. I'm in my mid 50s and haven't seen this kind of excellent older fashioned service in many years.. it's a mom n pop type business very hometown type.. I say help small business and go with these guys, you can't lose..”

I am forced to take some medicine that Walgreens and Cvs make nearly impossible to get on a regular basis. Lake Pharmacy has my meds when I need them, and the employees are kind down to earth people, not corporate robots. Always greeted kindly and treated with respect. They actually appreciate your business and it shows. As long as things stay this way, the 20 minute drive doesn’t bother me at all and I will remain a loyal customer.”

“This is a relatively new Publix sitting just off the 429 Kelly Park exit. There is just something about a new Publix, all shiny and fresh. This one did a complete makeover of the section where you can get subs, deli meats, and fried chicken. They put it in the round, and it seems to work much better. You can visually see everything, and it avoids over crowding in one specific area that would spill into other areas. They also added doors to all the refrigerated section, which I honestly prefer, as it keeps the food and dairy colder. Another unique thing to most Publix stores, a self checkout option. It doesn't make them any less Publix, but does free up some stress on the rushes. Overall, a fantastic addition to this side of Apopka.”

Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.”

“I stumbled across this pharmacy when desperate for a prescription medication that all other pharmacies had run out on! It was my last call and I was thinking I was going to have to figure out an alternative for my doctor to prescribe but this one works best and I had been on it for years so I gave it a last shot and gave them a call. To my surprise the pharmacist told me not only did he have the quantity I needed on hand but that he was able to fill my prescription the SAME day! I was thrilled beyond measure because I really could not be without it! He asked when I needed by and it was ready when I got there. The woman behind the counter was friendly and competent and I was surprised to see all of the "extras" there in the little "store" area from like aspirin and Benadryl cream to CBD Oil to wheelchairs this little place had it all! It's not great that everyone is running out of my meds but thank God I ended up finding this little gold nugget! What a lifesaver! The pharmacist also gave me the website to look at the other items offered including pre-packing meds like the big chain stores are doing. I really liked the personal care and tbh I'm tired of dealing with a certain big chain drugstore where it seems that now not only are the tech and staff incompetent but now it seems like the pharmacist is too! My medications and my health are just to important to trust to chance that I will get someone who knows what they are doing. This guys seemed very knowledgeable on side effects and dosage amounts and everything right off the top of his! And for different types of meds too including adverse reactions to mixing two that someone once prescribed me! They almost killed me! What a breath of fresh air this place is! I will be making the extra drive there bc my health is worth it! I highly recommend checking this place out and using them for your pharmacy and drugstore needs! I know I am!”
