“Selection and service at the store were great, salesman took care of me, measured my feet on their computer thingy and I wound up buying a pair of Mephisto Sandals. The most money I have ever spent on a pair of sandals-$200+. They were good until they were about a year old then it felt like every time I wore them, there was a stone in the sandal. It had developed a crease or wrinkle on the innersoles which was uncomfortable to walk on. I returned the sandals to Mephisto and about three weeks later, they sent them back saying the materials to repair them were not available??? Whatever that means? So, what it means is I'm stuck with an expensive pair of sandals that are uncomfortable to wear! Store-5 stars Mephisto Sandals-0 stars”

“I came into the store today wanting a refund for a pair of Floorsheims I had bought two weeks ago. I did not have all the proper receipts, etc even though the policies were spelled out on the receipt and on signs posted at the cashier. I was distraught. I was probably not super nice, either.But luckily for me, Stephanie Bowen was there. She helped me navigate my situation and came up with a perfect solution. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. “Attention Macy's shoppers! If you would like a great experience, I suggest you visit the Tyrone Macy's. I found a great buy on the "Clearance" rack. I go up to the register to pay and hand Linda a tattered store credit issued on sales a receipt. I couldn't begin to tell you how old it was. But picture this, it was so faded I had written the bar coding numbers on it before it completely faded away. Linda did her best and called in the Calvary. Albert, calling Albert to come the "Inc" register. In a matter of minutes a neatly dress gent came down to help. Albert tried inserting the numbers at that register. It also didn't work for Albert. He went further and took it upstairs. After a short while he came back to get me to come upstairs. There I was introduced to Michael, who was on the phone with Corporate getting instructions how to use the store credit. I was beginning to feel very guilty for all their hard work. Sitting next to Michael was Beverly cheering them on. After a second attempt, Albert successfully processed my purchase and handed me a brand new store credit with some sage advice not to wait so long to use that credit. We all laughed as I said I'd be sure to take his good advice. From there I wandered a bit longer till I found the prefect use for my store credit...Godiva chocolates. I got to revisit Rosa at Customer Service which where I started this adventure to return some items I purchased on line that didn't fit. Rosa warmly warmly greeted me again , rang up the purchase and handed me $1.42 in change. Thank you Rosa, Linda, especially dear Albert going beyond the call of duty, Michael and Beverly. I'm forever grateful to you all.”
