“I stopped by around noon to get my PSE recurve a new string. He notched the reference point for me and gave me two tips for two of my arrows that I noticed didn't have a tip anymore. The price was extremely reasonable and he even put the string on for me. He was very helpful and when I had a question about my arrow types, he didn't lie to try to sell me more arrows, he said the two kinds I had would be fine for practice target shooting. I will be joining the club soon and I'm excited to get some practice!”

“I've been getting ready for my first marathon, so I wanted to make sure I bought the right running shoes instead of just ordering something online. The staff had me do a quick foot measurement and watched me walk and jog to check my gait before making any recommendations. I thought that was pretty cool because they were actually trying to find what fit me best. I tried several pairs including the Brooks Ghost 16, HOKA Clifton 10, and ASICS Gel-Nimbus 27. After going back and forth for awhile, I ended up with the Brooks Ghost 16 since it just felt the most comfortable for the longer runs I have planned. Everyone was patient and never rushed me, even though I probably tried on more shoes than most people. I've already put a few miles on them and they feel great. If you're in Tallahassee and need running shoes, especially for training or a marathon, I'd definitely stop here first.”

“I had an amazing experience at this Hibbett location thanks to Jasmaine (everyone calls her Jazz)! I came in with my four kids—one girl and three boys—and all of my boys really wanted the low-top Air Force 1s. They didn't have the lows out for my youngest, only the mid-tops, and he was really upset because he didn't want them. Jazz went above and beyond by checking the back and successfully finding his exact size in the lows! She was so polite, nice, and incredibly helpful throughout our whole visit. “I needed a sleeve to place on an injured knee. I checked a couple of drug stores, but they didn't have much and almost nothing in my size. I tried Dick's and found a huge inventory of sleeves and braces, clearly marked as to levels of support that they provide, and available in all sizes. I bought a couple and found that they worked great. On the way out, I found some shorts on sale and bought several. They've been fine--and very reasonably priced. I returned to pick up a brace with a little more support. Both trips I noticed that every employee I encountered seemed very happy to be working at Dick's and eager to help me with anything.”
