Suncoast Credit Union is the largest credit union in Florida and the 10th largest in the United States. Established in 1934, it currently operates 79 branches and serves over one million members across 40 counties. As a community credit union, anyone living, working, attending school, or worshiping in its service area is eligible for membership. In 2021, the credit union expanded its field of membership to include public K-12 teachers, college educators, and educational support staff from all 67 Florida counties. Customers praise the credit union's helpful and personable staff, such as Sandra, who provided detailed information on auto loans and resources for future home purchases, and Rocio, who is always patient and supportive. Jeremy in the drive-thru lane is also commended for his excellent customer service and friendly personality. The credit union's staff, including the service center manager Sandra Wright, are recognized for going above and beyond to assist members in difficult situations.
