I have had birds in the past and I knew that I wanted to get another one when I got to Florida. I happened to go to Petco at The Villages yesterday and I saw Connor the Green Cheeked Conure. He was just beautiful and very interactive. When I started talking to him, he was showing off and playing with his toys. I decided to buy him and bring him home with me. The sales person (I wish I knew her name) was amazing. She was the only one at the register but took the time to bring the bird out from behind the glass so I could talk to him and interact a little more. She also made sure that I had everything I needed to get started and make sure that Connor was comfortable. I would definitely recommend Petco at The Villages for any of your pet care needs.

So by Sunday she was not getting any better so I took her in and saw Dr. Elissa who was very nice and caring. I’m new to the area and she was able to recommend a veterinarian to me. I’m so glad they were here for us on a Sunday.

Petco Vaccination Clinic
600 US-441, The VillagesMy young cat is very feral, petable, but feral. The vet was doing shots in the middle of the fish area. I told her that wouldn't work because if he bolted (which he did), we'd never catch him again. The tech suggested taking him into the restroom, which worked perfectly. It was an area where he was easily caught, scruffed, given his rabies shot and put back in the carrier, with everyone unharmed and safe.
I would use them again.

VCA Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital
748 Village Campus Cir, The VillagesWe moved to Ocala in June, we called VCA at Buffalo Ridge for our lovely Rose. During the move we noticed a lump on her eye lid. This popped one night right after we moved into our home. They were so passionate with her and the staff is polite. They made us feel she is part of their family. I love her doctor. She so soft spoken and answers any concern we have.
Just this week we noticed her eye was getting another infection. I called the office explaining the situation, and asked if we could pick up the same prescription ointment or should we make an appointment. The person I spoke with said, no we have a refill and they would contact us when it was ready, she did advise it could take up to 48 hours. We were very impressed the same day her medicine was ready to be picked up. The office is not close to us 30 minutes drive, but this is definitely the place for Rose.

2752 Brownwood Blvd, The VillagesThe place was clean and the staff were very friendly. There is a bit of a learning curve for ordering, but the staff were accommodating and patient. The bowls were generous size and a decent value. Flavor was ok, could have been a bit fresher, but good overall. This is a good place to go to scratch the itch for poke, but if sushi/sashimi is your thing, this fish probably won't do it for you.

Both were full of flavor, fresh and uniquely prepared. The villages had many places to eat, but most don't rise to this level of quality. Very pleased.

2484 Odell Cir, The VillagesWe eat here a lot. Last night our family of six had reservations at 6:15. We arrived early and still didn't get seated until after 6:45. No one spoke to us about the delay. I normally make reservations here around 5:30. The service was what I am used to here but the food was somewhat disappointing. Granddaughters pizzas were burnt, lobster bisque was pretty bad. southwest salad lacked flavor and the meat loaf was just warmed over and pretty cold. Not normal for this restaurant, guess the expediter left early. We didn't complain, should have, to the waiter or management. Normally when you leave the restaurant staff say good and thanks, not last night. Just get the feeling that the end of the day is not the time to eat here.

One person bussed the tables very quickly and another person was there properly cleaning the tables. They both walked around cleaning! It was nice to see a clean resturant and some pride in it. It was busy and pretty noisy, so hard to have a conversation at times. Didn't have a drink, but the margaritas looked yummy.
It was slightly chilly and the outdoor patio had heaters which made it pleasant.
