“This particular pharmacy is heads and shoulders above any other! The whole staff is caring and treat you like a person. The pharmacist are exceptional. I have had problems with my prescriptions running out before being refilled this month, and everyone was compassionate and rushed to get them filled as soon as my doctor sent the approval over. The whole Publix is better than any other in the area!”

“I had an amazing experience with the shift lead named Virgin and the entire photo team at this Walgreens. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my large photo order for my school’s graduation was completed on time. Virgin didn’t just make a few calls she personally went to several other Walgreens locations to pick up the posters needed to complete my order.

“I come into Walgreens very often to pick up photos, and I wanted to share something I witnessed today.
While I was waiting in line, the gentleman in front of me was unhappy with one of his photo prints and asked for it to be reprinted. The employee who is often behind the counter (India and the manager was petro )immediately and respectfully reprinted the photo for him. She then showed it to him and politely explained that he could do an exchange: he could keep the print he liked, and she would take back the one that did not turn out correctly.
The customer then became aggressive and demanded a refund while also wanting to keep both prints. He even insisted on taking three prints home for free so that his wife could decide which one she liked, saying he would come back later to pay. India calmly explained that she could not allow prints to be taken without payment, but reiterated that he was welcome to keep the better print while she took back the incorrect one. She also apologized for the inconvenience. Her manager even translated the explanation into Spanish to make sure there was no misunderstanding.
Despite this, the customer said the customer service was terrible and demanded her name. When she asked for an ID to process a refund, he rolled his eyes and said it was ridiculous.
As someone who has worked in customer service, it really frustrates me to see a situation like this where an employee is treated unfairly. India was polite, calm, and respectful the entire time. She never raised her voice or acted rudely. In fact, she handled the situation very professionally.
I hope India is not reported or fired for this interaction, because from what I witnessed she did everything right. She is always kind and helpful whenever I come in, and she truly is one of the sweetest employees there.
