“The employees at this store are the best, but today one went above and beyond. This was the fourth day coming to the store to try to pick-up my favorite item and the shelf was empty. After a polite conversation with Lawanda, I asked her about the Pepperidge Farm cookies shelf being empty. She stopped what she was doing, mentioned it was a vendor's product, but would check on that for me. I continued my shopping, bless her heart, she went out of her way to find me in produce with a bag of cookies. I was so touched, being on a fixed income, I only shop once a month and now can't even afford a special treat... she made me smile today. This is great customer service!”
“A super market (so to speak). Staff is helpful and pleasant. Store is clean. It's stocked with what you'd expect in a well run grocery store. The prices seem reasonable, if a little bit higher than Aldi or Walmart.
The delicatessen makes great sandwiches. It's pretty busy at lunch.”

“Employees at Northgate Public in Winter Haven are the most useful, courteous and knowledgeable people. They always go the "extra mile" to help a customer. Today (6/27) around 10:30 am, Julio was restocking frozen goods when I was getting ice cream. The item was BOGO and there was only one in the freezer. He checked his cell phone and found there were more in stock. So, he went back and got me another one. (Well, he brought back a whole box and restocked that item.) Thank you for going the extra mile, Julio!”
“While I haven’t done any grocery shopping, I often stop in to grab lunch. For $7-$8 they give you enough food for two hungry men! Pick your rice, your beans, and then your protein. Food is always good and if you stop in after 5pm, you get two of these meals for $10! You can’t beat it! And the women behind the counter are the best. Hola amigas!”

For your refills they have the option of sending them by mail they tell you in two to 3 days but the reality is that it will arrive the next day without fail. “A few days ago, I got a flu shot at the 7009 Cypress Gardens CVS. The gentleman who gave it to me did something no one has ever done before. He GENTLY pinched my arm with his thumb and index finger and gave me the shot there. Not only did I not feel the pinch or the shot, it is the first time ever in the more than 40 years I've had annual flu shots that I had no reaction at all to the shot. INCREDIBLE.”

“Location! Location! Location! This Publix is in a fantastic location for anyone visiting the Legoland area and needs some supplies. I literally left out of Legoland exit and went straight across the street it seemed. Made it super easy to pick up a few things I forgot to pack and pick up a few snacks and drinks. They seem to be well stocked and carry a lot more variety than the average Publix store as well. There is plenty of parking and they have public restrooms. The prices are...well...Publix prices, but the location is wonderful and made life easy.”

“Went for my Covid-19 booster shot and not only was booking the appointment very easy but check-in and process took 5 minutes! I had to wait the required 15 minutes to make sure I was ok. They provided me with everything I needed and end up with 20%OFF shopping coupon for the day!! Thank you. The staff was super nice and friendly and no pain at all!”

“I have got to say, my experience with this Walgreens has been absolutely AMAZING!! ESPECIALLY MISS BLANCA!! She has been EXTREMELY patient, kind, understanding, helpful and has gone above and beyond for me!! I've been waiting for my Dr to send over my prescriptions to them because my location I usually use is flooded so they're closed. So I've been calling all day to see about them & poor Blanca was the one stuck with me every time! And she has been absolutely amazing all day, just wonderful! I can't say enough good things about her or the store itself. It's been a complete 180° from the experiences I've had in the past, years ago when I used Walgreens all the time. I recently switched back to them and my usual store has been awesome and so has this one!! I can't say thank you enough to them!! ESPECIALLY BLANCA!!!”

“I went to Walgreen 2/18/26 around 10:00 am on 1st street in Winter Haven to fill prescription from immediate care. I was told 15 -20 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked the pharmacist if my prescription is ready because I am sick. She looked in the bin found my prescription. There was a line and I asked do I have to get in line since I was there over 30 minutes because I feel sick. Looked me in the face and said get in line. No compassion what so ever for a sick person. She should be talked to regarding her compassion for sick people and customer service.”
