My husband loves the Vietnamese coffee I however will be try every boba they have ? ! Love the couple that owns the place they are so sweet ! Such great place don’t even think about it JUST GO!!”
“A super market (so to speak). Staff is helpful and pleasant. Store is clean. It's stocked with what you'd expect in a well run grocery store. The prices seem reasonable, if a little bit higher than Aldi or Walmart.
The delicatessen makes great sandwiches. It's pretty busy at lunch.”

“Tons of great deals and super fresh food, which explains why the lines can get pretty long. The store itself is beautiful, clean, and well organized, making it easy to shop even when it’s busy. They consistently offer great prices on quality items, so it’s definitely worth the wait. Overall, a great place to shop and one I keep coming back to.”
“Great local market. I was not aware of them but will definitely be back. It is s small store with wonderful fresh fish. I inquired about a fish and the owner was very helpful. I have a dear friend who raves about a fish from her childhood. Prior to finding this market I could only get it online. It's worth trying out.”
“Employees at Northgate Public in Winter Haven are the most useful, courteous and knowledgeable people. They always go the "extra mile" to help a customer. Today (6/27) around 10:30 am, Julio was restocking frozen goods when I was getting ice cream. The item was BOGO and there was only one in the freezer. He checked his cell phone and found there were more in stock. So, he went back and got me another one. (Well, he brought back a whole box and restocked that item.) Thank you for going the extra mile, Julio!”

“When I was living in this area for a few months, I discovered this store up the block from my house and rarely went anywhere else. Wide selection of basics, plus specialty Mexican / South American items. Prices are decent and everything is always fresh. Worth visiting.”
“While I haven’t done any grocery shopping, I often stop in to grab lunch. For $7-$8 they give you enough food for two hungry men! Pick your rice, your beans, and then your protein. Food is always good and if you stop in after 5pm, you get two of these meals for $10! You can’t beat it! And the women behind the counter are the best. Hola amigas!”

“My wife and I bought a baby car-seat on Boxing Day 2025, and we needed a copy of the receipt. I went to Customer Service to 'hopefully' get a copy and Jaylaa at Customer Service was very helpful, and within a few short minutes, she was able to print off a copy, which I now have. Thank you ?”
“I’m not sure I can fully capture this experience, but I’ll try. My family and I walked into Walmart on a simple mission—my daughter was excited to pick out a new toy. When we reached the toy aisle, the shelves were nearly empty, and her excitement quickly turned into disappointment.
Just as we were about to give up and leave, Amanda, the team lead, stepped in. She immediately understood what we were looking for and went out of her way to track down a few remaining items for my daughter.
It may have seemed like a small gesture, but it meant everything in that moment. Amanda turned a disappointing experience into a joyful one through her kindness, empathy, and genuine care. She truly made my daughter’s day.

“This is a regular Dollar General. Why I gave it a 4 star was the check out gentleman. I had my 2 grand daughters age 4 & 7 out for a "shopping spree". They had their own money and carefully shopped. They had to make decisions to put some things back. When we got to the counter to check out they each paid for their items. The gentleman was very patient with them and Grandmom appreciated his tolerance. My next visit we'll be back to do more shopping”
“I'm giving DG 5 stars for its hard working, stressed out employees. Let ME tell you what the problem is! I'm an over the road truck driver who trained on the DG account. My oldest daughter was training to be a store manager for them but quit. Not because she didn't like the people or job but the stress! Us drivers would show up at the stores with there delivers. Sometimes half or a 3rd of the trailer per store. Everything is pushed into the back room that most often isn't big enough because each store sells so much. The employees have to take care of the customers, stock shelves, and run register at same time. There is no time to stock! My daughter got written up twice for closing store at night and working off the clock to try and get store organized. She has OCD. It's not within her to walk away from a job unfinished. Most of the, during the day time, there is one cashier, a manager, and one other person to stock shelves AND they have to back up the cashier if needed. The managers run crazy trying to help in every area. Just put yourself in their shoes. Next time you go inside and see all that stuff in those carts. Just imagine it was your job to put all that away. You have one maybe 2 days until next truck comes in.The best way to beat this problem is do like Walmart and Home Depot. Have a night crew!!! They wouldn't have to deal with customers or money! JUST STOCK!! This way every store would be fully stocked when opening first thing each day. The day time employees would only have to deal with customers and maybe, just maybe a few items that didn't get done.It's time for DG to step it up and hire more people to better serve YOU!! In the long run DG would increase there profits! It's working for Walmart and Home Depot! Look at there quarterly sale.”
“I'm a regular at this store. This store always has what I need and the staff is hardworking and pleasant . My only complaint is that it is so hot in the store. By the time I get to the register, I am sweating! Please turn the air conditioner on!”

“Its a great place to go and get deals they have a aisle where everything is a $1 like toliet paper and Kleenex also body wash and laundry detergent along with dish soap and many other useful items the people who work there are very friendly and they also have lots of other items like frozen food and dairy and other grocery items and lots of other items”
“Located off to the side on Coleman road. Not the best part of town, store and lot are dingy looking but very nice owners.
A hand wash car and detail place is located on the side of the store.
There are no gas pumps however,
this store is stocked with items of convince. Usually very busy.”

“The employees at this store are the best, but today one went above and beyond. This was the fourth day coming to the store to try to pick-up my favorite item and the shelf was empty. After a polite conversation with Lawanda, I asked her about the Pepperidge Farm cookies shelf being empty. She stopped what she was doing, mentioned it was a vendor's product, but would check on that for me. I continued my shopping, bless her heart, she went out of her way to find me in produce with a bag of cookies. I was so touched, being on a fixed income, I only shop once a month and now can't even afford a special treat... she made me smile today. This is great customer service!”
