“Good selection of items, I come here consistently because there are a handful of things this location carries that I struggle with to find elsewhere. Pricing isn’t incredibly competitive though, there are plenty of places that are cheaper nearby. As I live between both Hawaii and Georgia I find it crazy that the prices here on a lot of items are more expensive than what I pay at my Hawaii home.”
“Nice experience. All the workers are super nice. Fresh fruit & veggies are nice at reasonable prices. They do have a limited selection, but it’s great if you’re on a limited budget, and helps you stay on task with grocery shopping.”
“This Food Lion is very clean, always in stock, has beautiful produce, and the workers are helpful. They honor rain checks and often have an excellent selection of reduced-priced meats.”

“Early morning (around 5am), fuel station tenant was extremely helpful and had a true sense of urgency and customer service friendly. The card reader wasn't working and the attendant immediately stopped working on his inventory to help me out. Quite unusual this day and age. Kudos to that gentleman! Your assistance will not be forgotten.”
“Such a wonderful local grocery shop with affordable prices and a great selection of healthy foods, produce and meats. They also carry health and beauty and other non food items you'd usually find at a grocery store for convenience sake.”
“Claen, well stocked, with a friendly helpful staff, this is the ONLY grocery store my wife will shop at - we've been customers since they were 'IGA' at the corner of Harlem-Grovetown Hwy. & Wrightsboro Rd. They have always had great buys on meats, and my wife, a farmer's daughter, knows enough to know and she says they have the best meat in town. I know I have never had any reason to complain about anything in their store.
Parking is free and easy, handicap access & help available, and generally, you do not have to walk very far.
As for service - outstanding, on my opinion. Just 3 days ago I was wandering the aisles looking for shaving cream and the associate behind the meat counter, noticing, came out and around to help me find what I wanted. They've always been that way, and downhome & earthy, helping anyone. Plus, unlike a certain competitor, they always have at least one cash register open, ran by a human, and if the line starts to stack just a bit, they open another one.
I have always been well pleased with their service and store, and unlike Walmart, I leave KJ's with a relaxed smile and not with a sense of aggravation and a scowl, which is almost always how I leave Wally-World.
I like going to KJ's. I can't say that about the "Wally-World".

“Convenient location. Pretty fast service. Not a long wait, when there’s cars. The pharmacists are amazing, and go out of their way to help customers. Staff are like all places with some friendly & professional, and others that are okay.”
“Even though this isn't the closest dollar general to our house, we usually go out of our way to shop here. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. There is a much bigger selection of items than at most dollar generals. Bonus: the bathrooms are spacious and clean!”
“Store Manager Lady Kantina is a awesome asset to Dollar General. From my dealings with her and staff/manager I feel like I'm shopping amongst friends. I sometimes get to loud I feel so comfortable. I reign it in. I enjoy each and Everytime I visit. I can remember a time when store felt like customers/employees were sour... Having personalities of a door knob. Now we are greeetted with happy smiling employees.... Changing moods literally.... Great job!”
“The stock boy called me "honey " and corrected me while I tried to pull coffee creamer out of the bin . It was crammed into the cooler behind the door at an angle where the container was going to be crushed and leak. I had to pull one up and then get the one behind. He ran up to me to chastise me like a child and correct me. He assumed I was going to leave one in the wrong space . There were more empty spaces than creamers which were almost emptied in every slot. He was very rude and more than 40 years younger then me. I am not his honey and I am not old. He appeared to be in his teens ! I have two college degrees and am a professional . I do not appreciate being talked to as though I need remedial training. The store itself is clean and check out is fast . Parking is good. I like the drink area up front and great prices on refreshments. Wish there was a way to have stockers during the night not while people try to shop and move around boxes . Thankful for food though.”
