“Wow, I am never disappointed going to this food lion. It’s so close to the Fourth of July and everyone was still in such great spirits. Specially have to mention Dennis, he works in the Deli area, all I can say is wow if you aren’t in a good mood when you come, he will absolutely turn your energy upside down. Dennis was so positive and caring and with the 4th coming up, having to prepare, getting ready for our big family, he was amazing. We appreciate this store tremendously.”
“Early morning (around 5am), fuel station tenant was extremely helpful and had a true sense of urgency and customer service friendly. The card reader wasn't working and the attendant immediately stopped working on his inventory to help me out. Quite unusual this day and age. Kudos to that gentleman! Your assistance will not be forgotten.”
“Claen, well stocked, with a friendly helpful staff, this is the ONLY grocery store my wife will shop at - we've been customers since they were 'IGA' at the corner of Harlem-Grovetown Hwy. & Wrightsboro Rd. They have always had great buys on meats, and my wife, a farmer's daughter, knows enough to know and she says they have the best meat in town. I know I have never had any reason to complain about anything in their store.
Parking is free and easy, handicap access & help available, and generally, you do not have to walk very far.
As for service - outstanding, on my opinion. Just 3 days ago I was wandering the aisles looking for shaving cream and the associate behind the meat counter, noticing, came out and around to help me find what I wanted. They've always been that way, and downhome & earthy, helping anyone. Plus, unlike a certain competitor, they always have at least one cash register open, ran by a human, and if the line starts to stack just a bit, they open another one.
I have always been well pleased with their service and store, and unlike Walmart, I leave KJ's with a relaxed smile and not with a sense of aggravation and a scowl, which is almost always how I leave Wally-World.
I like going to KJ's. I can't say that about the "Wally-World".

“You could find most Spanish products. Very nice workers. One of the first store that I was able to find banana leaves, green bananas, salted cod fish, empanadas disc. And other products.”
“The stock boy called me "honey " and corrected me while I tried to pull coffee creamer out of the bin . It was crammed into the cooler behind the door at an angle where the container was going to be crushed and leak. I had to pull one up and then get the one behind. He ran up to me to chastise me like a child and correct me. He assumed I was going to leave one in the wrong space . There were more empty spaces than creamers which were almost emptied in every slot. He was very rude and more than 40 years younger then me. I am not his honey and I am not old. He appeared to be in his teens ! I have two college degrees and am a professional . I do not appreciate being talked to as though I need remedial training. The store itself is clean and check out is fast . Parking is good. I like the drink area up front and great prices on refreshments. Wish there was a way to have stockers during the night not while people try to shop and move around boxes . Thankful for food though.”

“Went in earlier this afternoon I wish I would have got his name it was a middle age black male. I just want to make sure he gets credit for this compliment. I walked in he greeted me in the friendliest manor then helped me find 2 items I couldn’t find and was so uncommonly friendly. This man needs kudos for his friendly professional service because I shop a lot of places and this is RARE!!!! Customer service has gone down the hill. This man should be used as a role model for new hires at all businesses. Hope his supervisors see this and commend him”
