“Drawchange is a great organization that makes a significant impact on the children it serves. I have interned with drawchange this summer and have had the privilege to work in both the shelter programs and behind the scenes doing administrative work. When working at the shelter, I was able to witness how drawchange's art programs positively impact the emotional well-beings of the children. I have had a few moments where I was nearly brought to tears seeing the children's transformations. On the administrative side, drawchange functions like a well-oiled machine. As an intern, I was respected and given tasks that challenged me and respected my abilities. I would strongly recommend that anyone donate, volunteer, or intern with drawchange.”

“We hosted a community program at Alif Institute, and it was a great venue for the group! Their building offers ample space for events with plenty of tables and chairs, and their large projection screen was great for presentations. Hosting a community-focused class surrounded by Alif's exhibitions and market was a great addition to the experience. Their staff was very welcoming as well! I absolutely recommend working with Alif if you need a venue for a community event, whether it's a social gathering, educational program, or anything else.”

“I have been at this place twice since I had moved here to Georgia. The first time I came to this place was when I was visiting here taking classes to learn communication skills and being independent. The second time I came to this place was in 2016, because I was having an informational interview with someone about how she does her work and asked her a few questions.
I really enjoyed doing that. Everybody was so friendl and nice and helpful, I didn't want to end the meeting there so soon or leave the center so very soon. They are very helpful to people with visual impairments and blindness. So if you are blind or visually impaired, and you need help with learn certain skills such as these I had just mentioned, this place is the place to come to. Please check it out.
It's a wonderful place with beautiful rooms and a beautiful dining roop and classrooms. The bathrooms are nice and clean too.
And the staff and faculty there just as I said are very nice and friendly. They have all kinds of stuff available for people who are blind and or visually impaired. You should visit their store. Their store is very nice. They have all kinds of stuff there you could choose from for people who are blind and visually impaired. It’s called visually impaired store and it is wonderful.
I am saying this because I am a blind lady who has been there myself. And the lady that I have spoken to at that place during the informational interview was also totally blind. Her name was Angela Daniels, and she told me that she had been blind for over 15 years. I am curious to know where she is now and what has become of her since she had moved from Georgia .”

“I've been to a couple of other places and this is the first one I've come to where it seems like the staff are genuinely interested in helping you. The income-based fees are extremely manageable as well.Update 7/20/23: I was a patient her a few years ago and it was so great. I recently called to find out obtaining medical records and the woman on the phone was incredibly condescending, impatient and rude. I just ended the call because I have neither the time nor the patience for that nonsense. She’s probably not a great person to be “assisting” folks that are trying to IMPROVE their mental health.”
“Attended an evening of Atlanta roller derby at the center. This is a cool venue to bring together food trucks, a live music band and the roller derby ladies. Definitely take a chance on this venue as everyone was exceedingly nice to open this space. A fun night for entertainment and people watching.”

“I received rental assistance from BCM Georgia and Johnathan Putnam was my program coordinator. The property management company that I rent from has always been difficult in the past and I only had 5 days to get all the necessary paperwork completed and approved by both BCM and my property management team. It took a lot of emails and coordinating, but Johnathan was very good about responding to emails and answering my questions. He worked very quickly to get everything done and even went above and beyond by providing a tracking number for the check that went out to the landlord.I am so grateful to BCM Georgia for helping me. In the last five months, I was laid off, my son was shot (he is ok), my car broke down, and I ran out of unemployment. I've been looking for a job and applied everywhere and still have not been able to get anything. It really is hard out here. Especially for someone like me who is new to Georgia and dont really have connections. I am so thankful to God that BCM was able to come through for me.I also want to thank Wykell Brown for responding to the site emails to let me know when BCM was accepting applications. Even though its first come first serve, I appreciate having some idea of when to apply.Again, thank you Johnathan for not treating me like "another number" on the help list. “The product is good, & when on-site couldn’t receive better service.Unfortunately, the inconsistency of when one can access their food (pickup varies according to weather),inconsistent means of communication (varies between erratic emailsOrtexts to manager who sometimes replies confirming I can pick up my food, other times I’m told to come a certain day then ghosted on)Leaves me wondering what exactly is this farm trying to do here.This community has to do better, just energetically it makes us all better.From a business perspective I’m appalled,from a integrity perspective, as this is food that my family paid for in advance & can’t access consistently… I’m disgusted.As CSA member, I really hate the first time experience I’m having with this place.**************UPDATE*****************It’s truly a blessing to have this CSA in our family’s kitchen.
