Maansi and Betty have a tremendous amount of experience to share! I first entered the store almost a year ago, wanting to learn how to knit. I taught myself to crochet, but I knew I needed a little more guidance for knitting. I started with lessons, slowly built my skills, and eventually worked up to my first sweater with classes! The selection of yarns is beautiful - many brands I have never seen elsewhere, and more that I had never even heard of. Budget friendly options are available, but it is hard to resist some delightfully soft, beautiful yarn when making a garment for myself. Lovely options and great, highly-experienced teachers if you're wanting to learn or expand your skills!”

“Labors of Love feels like a second home to me! I attend the weekly stitch nights on Wednesdays and always have an incredible time! I came for the stitching but I stayed for the friendships (and the dachshunds!)

I love that the canvas selection has a mix of large and small projects, depending on what you're in the mood for! And the shop is filled with stitched examples that showcase all the different finishing methods that offer inspiration to incorporate into your own projects.

The shop has an impeccable selection of threads, but their real specialty is the ribbon and bead wall! They have nearly the full line of River Silks and Treenway ribbons and beads (and other doodads) for days!!

I highly recommend this shop. The experience of Mark and the team of associates is worth its weight in gold. I love that I am able to bring in a project and everyone is happy to jump in and offer their ideas!”

“It was a lovely experience to visit the stores. If you are person with creative passions, they have it all.
From beautiful yarns for all puroses, to paint colours, paint brushes, beads, sewing material, craft, and what not. I have been visiting Hobby Lobby for quite sometime now.
Michaels has an equally good collection waiting for you. They have a wider variety of threads too.
Only the prices are a bit pinchy. The discounts are on the second buy, although there is a seniors discount they offer.
A good store altogether.”
