“TRINKET LOVERS; THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! Amazing selection of keychains, blind boxes, stickers, magnets, bags, and stuffed animals. They have a bunch of series of Smiskis, two types of calico critters, Sonny angels (NOT the hipper version), lots of Miffy, etc. As for the Jellycats, they had a few small ones, but the entire back wall (stuffed animal section) was not Jellycat. Still cute stuffed animals but totally thought they were Jellycats when I looked into the store which is why I came in. I totally loved it in here!! The prices are not awful for REAL collectibles as well. I mean, they aren’t great in the grand scheme of things when you remember you’re paying $14 for a plastic toy😅, BUT cheaper than some places i’ve been to before.”

“This is my absolute favorite bookstore in all of Atlanta (I even took my law school graduation photos here)! The location is so cute in the heart of Virginia Highland and walkable. There is $5 parking across the street. The book selection is so diverse and vast and that's just the first floor! The basement is cozy and full of classics and nonfiction. They also have children's books and a lot of reading accessories. Whenever I go in, I find my next must read. I also love the staff! They are so knowledgeable about their collection and always helpful! They always know where to find the right book. For booklovers and light readers, this is a must stop in Atlanta.”

“Their youth ministry put on a Spoken Word Showcase. Even the food served was creative and artistic. I was there with my WOF sisters (Cheetah Girls) for a birthday outing. Every artist wore many hats. They could speak, sing, cook, dance, do videography, lighting, etc. All the performers were just amazing and you couldbtell they put a lot of themselves in the words and songs they shared. They gave blessed energy and words. They shared personal experiences through spoken word and song that you could feel with every syllable and tone. It was a great night.”

“I’ve been going to bookstores in and around Atlanta this summer. This bookshop is 5 minutes from where I work so once I realized it was here, I stopped in. This is a small-medium shop with a fantastic selection of books. It’s got that wonderful warm bookstore feel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a great children’s section and even let their young readers put up their own recommendations. I was pleased to see not only books I read in school 15 years ago (the Giver) but also current series (Keepers of the Lost Cities). For one of the series in the adult section, they had a reading order list up, which I thought was very helpful. They also have a couple of rotating displays upfront near the check out counter. They had their Father’s Day display up as well as a cat themed one. Additionally, they have a nice selection of other items such as stickers, puzzles, and bookish items. I will definitely be stopping in again after work.”

“Went to an amazing event this weekend. Was the first time I've ever been inside the ACU campus. The parking was adjacent to the campus building we were headed to so no issues with parking. But even on the weekends it was $12! A lot! Also, the system did not read my ticket printed so I had to pay $24 to get out as they charge $24 for a lost ticket but the security help kept disconnecting the call so I had no choice. Staff - they had some CAU staff on site for the event but mostly event staff were present. Atmosphere - now the building itself definitely have HBCU vibes!! Loved everything about it! Nothing seemed dirty or too outdated. Everything worked in the bathrooms and the technology supplies were updated. I appreciated the school hosting the event and look forward to visiting for other events as well. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning. Thanks Brittney”

“A literal hidden gem. It is a scavenger hunt to find this place buried in a warehouse on the lower floor but it is there! This is a bookworm’s paradise. They have free parking on the street but can be less abundant in the evenings. I got a hot cup of the founders coffee. It gives you a smooth and very sustainable energy boost without a crash or jitters. They also offer tea and alternative milks to enjoy. It was kind of them to serve an array of pastries for us to enjoy with our beverages: danishes, croissants, pound cake. They have various of books for sale plus a case of books for swapping. If you don’t have a book to swap from that collection then you can purchase one for $3. There’s a wide range from fantasy sci-fi to self-help books and everything in between. They also have cozy nooks and couches for you to lounge around like you’re at home. We were delighted by the live entertainment. Unique delivered spoken word that touched my soul to its core. It was a chill yet inspiring vibe.”

“The area included as a national recreation area is several spread apart destinations along the river. Here, the focus is on a part of the river that is relatively easy to wade in. It looked fairly natural, but with all the signs about water quality and the degree of urban sprawl in Atlanta, I wouldn't expect great things. The muddy banks gave way to a wadeable area and a small island. Trails ran through hillier parts of the riverbank as well. Near the visitor center, a boat launch offered the chance for canoes and water rings to get down easily. It wasn't amazing, and you do need a parks pass, but it is a nice place to cool down.”

The selection here is extensive and while the prices aren't any great deal, they're on par with most other merchants. We had a positive experience with their service when we realized after getting our items home and noticing that we were double charged for an item and when my wife notified them, the associate, Hope credited back the overcharge.”

“I would love to give this store 5 stars but one of the workers was very rude to me. I was visiting the campus and really loved the atmosphere and so I decided I couldn’t leave without a souvenir. I bought a pink Spelman sweatshirt and while I was still in line with two other people in front of me, the cashier who was an older gentleman yelled at me and told me I couldn’t pay for the sweatshirt upstairs and to go downstairs.I’m sorry I wasn’t aware, but there is a nicer way to inform someone of the rule. Luckily I received better service downstairs from the nice ladies, but I was slick about to put that sweatshirt back on the rack.”
