“Janice was helpful and patient. I usually drop off packages at a blue box, but it's my first time paying to ship a package internationally and I'm thankful for her to correct certain things even if it took longer than usual and she may have been tired. I was hesitant to go to any of the USPS locations because of the bad reviews, but this one was recommended to me and it was fine. There was another employee, but I didn't interact with him at all, not sure if he was busy or just lounging around as she was the only one interacting with people. I’d come back here even though it’s a further drive.”
“I had to come here repeatedly to deal with a Money Order Issue. Every time I came, the experience was more pleasant than I expected! Angela is fantastic and offers 10/10 service; as do her fellow staff members! Everyone was very kind and helpful.
4 stars instead of 5 because there are a myriad of inconvenient USPS rules that don’t make sense; but the staff can’t do anything about that. So 5 stars to the staff, 4 stars to the USPS at Crown Rd as a whole!”
“Great attitude, love coming here in my neighborhood. No one in the area wants to work though. They come to work and then quit next 10 year. Lots of strain on the manager.”
“Right before Christmas, i expected the busiest craziest post office. Not only was this branch a well oiled machine, it had the kindest most patient workers. I appreciate what the customer service agents at this branch put in to every interaction they have.”
“Best post office ever!I'm usually dont leave reviews to the USPS because they are mostly all bad.But I found this small USPS at Georgia Tech University and they are amazing. All employees are always willing to help and I need to recognize how unique is this.My best recommendation for the manager and to all employees from this location.”
“Going to the postal office is one of the most painful errands to run, but Mr. Sykes makes it so much easier! The place was packed and he was friendly and patient with every customer he spoke to. I wish all USPS employees could be more like Mr. Sykes!”
“I just have to say that the lady with the red hair is so sweet. She's always happy and has a smile on her face. I came when she was locking up for lunch and she still made time to help me and did it with a big smile on her face. This post office is definitely blessed to have her as an employee.”
“Ty was really helpful and great. Made everything easy for me to understand and he helped out multiple people in the same manner while I was there filling out shipping information.”
“I have been using this location for many years and yes sometimes there are back logs to the counter but usually during lunch hours . The two people who presently working there are very professional and goes the extra mile to assist you . I see customers showing up and are not prepared correctly to mail something but they are treated well and given the opportunity to correct whatever and get their stuff mailed . This takes a lot of patience on the associates there. I give the PO a 100% rating . Their front should swing in vice out due to some customers carrying a load to mail.”
“Just dropped off a package at 10am. Location was quiet and inside cool which was refreshing after walking in the heat to get there. No queues and quiet, was seen immediately. This is my second time visiting and still experienced an efficient service. No complaints here.”
“Ms. T was the nicest and most helpful person ever. She was friendly to me and every other customer she helped. I've never mailed a package before and she was very understanding and helpful”
“Hello everyone this is the best USP the clerk is always friendly helpful kindly amazing associates all the time he is all ways welcoming Community post office and oh boy he is very knowledgeable of all your needs and packages oh yes he is worthy of God great amazing blessing he fixed all kinds of problems and make sure its done right all the time I live over by the post office zip code 30316 but I will always come back to 30317 for the best place ever for my post office experience. Yes I will always give this the best place with a 5 stars and if it was a 100 stars yes it's for me. GREAT PLACE GREAT PEOPLE'S”
“I was hesitant to come here due to all the negative reviews but decided to try anyway. I came on a Thursday at 11am and the staff was very kind to me. There was no line, the service was quick, I got offered stamps, and was given a receipt. He even made sure I knew how to track my package. This might have been pure luck, but this was a great experience and I thought I'd do the kind gentleman that helped me some justice by sharing my experience publicly.”
“Excellent service and customer care. I wish I lived closer to this location.Keona and Chris were great very helpful and moved through the line very quickly and were very friendly.”
“EAV Post Office is pretty good. They have a parking lot, and usually have the necessary mailing supplies. There are some blue post boxes out front and a large package drop off inside.”
“Brenda was our Postal Agent at this location, my encounter with Ms. Brenda was pleasant. I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile. She answered all my questions and didn’t rush me thru the process. I truly appreciate excellent communication and customer service especially towards the end of the day! I witnessed Brenda greet all her customers with kindness and got the line down quickly!”
“Idk what everyone expects from USPS but I’ve been shipping packages through this post office without any issues. And everyone saying the staff is rude…they really aren’t, they’re just doing their job. And most of the times are friendly, smiling and answer any questions. It’s not a premium service, hence you don’t pay UPS or FedEx Premiums. I’ve gotten money orders and other services and it’s all been fine.
If you have a problem with your post office, maybe speak to your state and county representatives, and don’t vote in people who aren’t interested in improving USPS for the public but privatize it for their own profits.”
“I’ve been to so many post offices over the country and this is by far my favorite. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and always have supplies in stock. I go out of my way to come to this post office because it’s worth it. People complaining about service have not been to a post office in NYC and it shows ?”
“I had to send multiple tax returns today. Katherine was wonderful. She confirmed all the correct IRS and GA Department of Revenue PO Boxes. She suggested to only use First Class for my GA returns because the state picks up the returns directly which saved me $25. She had a very soothing manner and answered all my questions.”
“A couple of days ago I went to a different post office closest to where I live now trying to catch a package that was being delivered at the wrong address the lady at the counter was no help at all she had no suggestions nor information to give me to help me with my situation that was before the package was even delivered after the package was delivered I contacted the post office they gave me suggestions so today I went to Lakewood station in the area where the package was delivered to the two ladies at the Lakewood station were very helpful took their time with me they were very patient and very respectful and had suggestions to help me with my situation as well as go back in the back and look for my package they were able to find my package for me I definitely appreciate them
Thank you very much”
“I’ve been to this location for minor things like stamps and shipping and have never experienced a problem. I signed up for a PO Box today and Ms. Gholston (sp) was so sweet. I’ve had the pleasure of being helped by her in the past and she’s always delightful. Overall, the USPS has its issues but it’s not the fault of customer facing staff.”
“The doors weren't open before 9AM today but I needed someone to help me snyway. The woman who was working at 9AM let me in a few minutes early and was so pleasant and helpful. I will definitely use this location again.”
“I have been to this post office twice and there's one person that has helped me both times (Rashaan). I had to ship out 6 rather large international packages. I figured I would do three and go back in the afternoon (figuring it would be a lot for one person). I mentioned this and he said go ahead and bring them all in. Keep in mind he was working alone and because his attitude was so bright and cheerful (you could tell he know his job well and cares about customer service). I was there at a slow time, but I told him that if he got additional customers I would step to the side rather than watch things get backed up, he just said OK and went about his business. I sure wish I lived closer to this post office. My experiences have not been good at other Post Offices...especially when shipping international packages. I hope they get him some much-needed help. This guy is great and one way to ruin a person with a great attitude is to overwork and underappreciate and I hope the USPS appreciates him...I do...Thanks Rashaan!”
“This USPS is located off of Cascade Rd on Herring. It's walking distance from the Beautiful. This location is usually busy. Yet, the staff here are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. There are two older women who rotate the front desk. And, only one person working at a time - like most other Post Office locations in this area. Which can lead to long lines and waits. If someone needs to go pull mail that was on hold or grab a lost package, you'll be there for awhile. A large majority of customers here are older, so they're usually buying stamps and need more attention than someone buying postage or dropping off a package. Since Covid, they have signs requesting you wear masks and only 4 people are allowed in at a time. And, there is tape marking the 6 foot spacing. However, the line wraps around the atrium and you sometimes have people waiting outside. If they had two people at the front desk for when the line backs up, it would make more sense. You can hear people working in back and I'm unsure the reasoning but no one comes out to help speed things along. Overall, it's one of my top USPS locations to patronize.”

“Nice lady helped me out with international postcards. Unfortunately they don't sell stamps at the international terminal anymore. It's a bit off - if you want to go there, you have to take the shuttle to international parking and then cross the main road. Most will make it alive...”
“Above and beyond customer service! I had to intercept a package to be delivered here, and the manager (Regina) drove all the way from another location to give it to me. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the young lady up front. Regina came and personally handed me my package. This has been the best experience at a post office so far. I’m a traveler, so this has truly impressed me. It’s rare to receive great service like this these days.”
“This Post Office is one of the best within my driving radius. Every letter or package I send through them arrives reliably, making the slightly longer drive well worth it. The customer service is excellent—despite handling some unusual requests from customers, the clerks remain professional and composed.”
“I've been here a handful of times because my orders were "undeliverable" to my address for whatever reason. Each time I've come, I received the help I needed. No one was ever rude to me or wasn't willing to help. (maybe new management? not sure) other reviews depict this place to be so awful but I do not have that experience, probably the "worst" experience I can say I've encountered is the wait time but EVEN then I never waited for more than 10minutes so it is not bad at all. The last time I was here, I realized that my boyfriend had a package dropped here (Either one of us weren't aware - only because the lady who was helping me told me there was an additional package labeled for my address) and she was very helpful in retrieving the item for me. My boyfriends package was large and heavy and she even offered to take it to my car!
This place is not a service post office like others in the area, it is just for pick up and drop off only. And it clearly states that when searching online, and several notices along the entrance and inside, I'm unsure how people miss it and get upset, drive an extra 5-10 minutes to the next post office .”
“After driving throughout Buckhead looking for a post office that was open. Arrived to this location that was open, my local post office on Pharr Road is closed for remodeling. The wait time was minimal and the clerk was helpful & friendly.”
“The BEST postal location on the south side. I am a business owner, so I’ve been to many locations. For the past two years I have been shipping off at this Red Oak location and it’s been nothing but great experiences. The lines move quick and the customer service is good. I normally visit after 1pm. The postal worker at the window is always helpful.”
