When I called to make appointment II was asked what they works for me and got scheduled on day requested without excuses about how many techs were available. Shop had everyone working on something- no one shop staff was standing around outside a bay smoking a cigarette . And courteous. Front office staff was kind enough to direct me to the shop when she noticed i searching for entrance.”

“This is the best deal around to rent a moving van from. I did not break down and the truck did not catch on fire. Uhaul has a truck in its fleet that routinely catches fire (the one with the lights above the cab) but is not being replaced because it is cheaper to just pay lawsuits. I knew someone who lost everything he owned to a Uhaul truck fire. I am not sure the exact cost of a human life to Uhaul, but I don't know anyone who lost everything to Budget Truck Rental because their life was worth less than making their fleet safe.”

“Going to this small U-Haul dealer is often better than going to a big U-Haul retail center. The big centers have boxes and all kinds of stuff for sale, but they try to get you to buy a new hitch, or overpriced ball. I don't need a new hitch, or ball, and I don't appreciate being told my hitch is unsafe, by a pimple face punk. The last time I rented a little trailer they tried this tactic, I left and went to a little local U-Haul dealer. No problem at all. They just rented me the trailer with no problem.”

“We moved from out of state and used 2 UHaul Uboxes for our household goods because they were more reasonable than PODS. Our experience with UHaul was 5 Star - both at the pick up location and the destination in Aiken.They arrived ahead of schedule in Augusta - the Call Center informed us right away. (I inserted AirTags in each box so I saw when they arrived - good tip). Salome, the delivery driver from Augusta, was on time, efficient and placed them exactly as I requested. She picked up the empty boxes sooner than scheduled per our request. What a great experience!”

At that time I noticed the trailer was covered with red clay mud on the outside. This was not removed by the time I picked it up.”

“Lawrence is a stand up guy. I initially had some issues with a UHaul order when the requested truck was never available for pickup at the Wheeler Rd outlet. I was there, the truck was there, but only then was I told it was down for service. I returned to the Washington Road UHaul and dealt direct with Lawrence who set up a rental the same afternoon. I'd recommend this location anytime.”
