“We attended a corporate christmas party here and it was beautiful! Very classy, elegant. The vibe was there for sure. The facility was very spacious, and calm and warm. There is an outdoor covered patio with seating and a large fire place. There are gas heaters on the roof to heat the patio. The company that caters there is called ROUX. The food was phenomenal, truly some of the best food I have ever had! It was unique and delicious. The wait staff were very nice and helpful. Overall a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend for any occasion. Even though it is on down town augusta, it is tucked away from everything. They also had security.”

“We hosted our elopement “reception” here and we had a wonderful time. Overall, I’m really glad that we chose Sugar Mags as our location because the guests loved it and so did we. For the price and location, it’s a great option/experience! The only thing that I would suggest is allowing people to have an earlier check in time. We paid for early check in (10am vs basic check in time @ noon) and if you are doing a day rental like we did, 10am is a little late. We wanted family to show up at 5pm before our reception started so that we could get professional pictures before everyone else showed up and we didn’t have time to do that. Set up, getting ready for pictures, etc felt really rushed and stressful-which just isn’t ideal when you’re celebrating the fact that you just got married (and paid a lot to do so). Thank you, Courtney!! We had a blast.”

“This is a very nice and relaxing place on the banks of Savannah River with a romantic view of an old iron railroad bridge on an extreme left side of the place and a very nicely remodeled walking bridge on the other right side of the marina, I stoped at this place on my way down to Charleston and was so surprised on how beautiful quiet and relaxing it was, wish I had the time to spend at least two days in this city to enjoy waking up and walking around this area in a morning, there is a souvenir shop where I got postcards magnets and local T-Shirts. I saw little turtles in the river too”

A special shout-out to Brady, the manager, for his hospitality and commitment to making this a great place to play golf. It’s always refreshing to find a golf course where the people make the experience just as enjoyable as the game itself. The Patch has a lot to be proud of, and I look forward to playing there again! Highly recommend The Patch!”

“Stars and strikes is a great place to bowl whether you’re a beginner or a pro. Emma and Christy (the managers) are phenomenal. Always have a positive attitude and do their best to accommodate the needs of everyone. Dina, behind the bar, is very sweet, quick, and makes great drinks. The rest of the staff always welcome you with a smile and make it a great atmosphere to bowl. Highly recommend this location!”

“The bowling lanes at Lanes are definitely in excellent condition and are widely considered the best place to go for bowling entertainment right here in Augusta. It's worth noting that they can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. However, the league nights are a lot of fun and always bring a good atmosphere.”

“I had a great stay at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and my room was comfortable, spacious, and exactly what I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, especially being right in downtown Augusta and close to restaurants, entertainment, and the riverfront. I also appreciated how peaceful and comfortable the hotel felt throughout my stay. What stood out most was the level of service. Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and was willing to help with anything I needed. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in making sure guests have a positive experience. I would definitely stay at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Augusta. Great location, great service, and an overall excellent experience.”
