“I have very bad knees and have trouble walking. I have a very strong, and very excitable Golden Retriever that needed his rabies shot. I stayed in the car with him and a young man came out to take him into the vet for me. He got his shot and then the young man also took him back out to the car for me. I've been going to East Paulding for many years and you don't know how much I appreciate that. Everyone in the office including, the veterarians, have been very friendly and helpful.”
“Dr. Bell is one of the most caring and compassionate vets we've come across. She has a calming presence and showed so much empathy with our Bella. “Kay Animal Hospital has been absolutely wonderful for my dog. She receives all of her care there, and every visit has been a great experience. The technicians are always so patient, gentle, and caring with her. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, compassionate and take the time to answer questions and explain everything thoroughly.
They have also been incredibly helpful with providing the health certificates my pet needs for travel to other countries, which has made the process so much easier and less stressful. It’s reassuring to know everything is handled carefully and correctly in one place.
Although appointments occasionally run a bit behind, it’s clear it’s because they are giving each pet the attention they deserve rather than rushing through visits. The level of care and dedication they provide makes it more than worth the wait. “Our journey with Apex started 10 years ago when we moved to Smyrna and brought our then 3 year old Golden Retriever, Hudson to Dr. Cary, who had just opened Apex. Immediately we knew we were in wonderful hands with not only her, but the entire staff.
Over Hudson's almost 9 years as a patient, he, and us, were treated with kindness and love, always receiving the best care. When our boy got sick, Jamie carried him from my car, all 80 lbs of him, into a room and back and forth for his testing. When we said goodbye to him, I could see their genuine compassion, and they were so respectful of our last moments with him. Our family is eternally grateful for all they did.
This is why there wasn't any question of where we'd bring our new girl. Dr Cary, Barbara, Kari, and all the other vet tech are the best around, and I can not recommend them highly enough.”
“I had my 7 month old pitbull mix spayed there and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Millie ( pitbull mix) is the 4 the dog we have taken to West ga spay and neuter. “Something was stuck in my puppy's mouth (chewed plastic), and my regular vet was too busy to see her. I called Douglasville Veterinary Hospital and they were able to accommodate us. Got on quickly, and had the item extracted without incident just a few minutes later. Super grateful to the kind and welcoming staff here. We will be back.”

Dr Joyce and her staff are polite, efficient, and willing to answer or find the answers to my questions. I appreciate the ability to purchase meds(heart worm etc...) monthly or multiple months at the time to accommodate if needed. My puppy is a bit skiddish and somewhat shy. They have been gentle and patient with him and we have had a great experience!”
“I took my fur baby, Hercules to The Ark today for his yearly exam, vaccinations, skin allergy, toenail clipping and bath and was so impressed with the way they all handled him. He has always had major anxiety when going to the vet. Today he was calm and happy, all because the team made him feel relaxed by petting him and talking sweetly to him. They are all professionals and truly care about each pet. Dr. Lowe, Holly, Angela and the vet techs and front office ladies are the best and I'm very grateful for them!!”

“As I said I was going to come back and 'spill the beans', my reading review remains a five as I am happy with their boarding service. Since my cat didn't eat like she normally would, I was giving back two cans of food that I brought there for her. Sure, it might seem like a small thing, but I appreciate it nevertheless. At least the employees told me when I called to check on her that Miracle wasn't eating much, not like my "(Christian)neighbors" that lied to me when I had them look after my cat once.”
“I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. My dog Scooby is not an easy patient . He is very reactive - lunging, snarling, barking — the whole nine yards. It is not an easy situation for anyone involved.
Despite how difficult he was, the doctor and staff treated him with patience, calm professionalism, and dignity. There was no frustration, no judgment — just steady, confident care. They safely got him wrapped, treated his ear, and made sure he received the medication he needed without escalating the situation.
As a pet owner, that level of compassion means everything. Thank you for handling a very tough case with such kindness and skill. We are so grateful.”
“Brought my baby here cus we had a lil medical scare. They were able to get us in as a walk the day after Christmas & the front desk staff eased my worries as soon as I walked in by cracking me UP. ?
