We paid 20% down - and I have never been required to escrow property taxes or home insurance. BTW we paid a year in advance for our homeowners and Ameris shoukd not be collect $10,000 + of my money. Yet charge any kind of fee to remove the escrow. So - after that scenario was cleared up- the process went just fine.”
