For years they've been efficient, friendly, and professional and they haven't skipped a beat during Covid and always follow Covid protocols. They remain stocked with supplies even when other stores have them on back order. They stay current with my medical team, expedited a few things when needed or transferred pick up to another Walgreens if traveling! Since I travel a lot I can compare the customer service and cleanliness between this Walgreens at 30525 and many other Walgreens & many other pharmacies where I might stop for quick shop. “Just a moment to share an absolutely fantastic experience for something as common as a simple refill. Due to the lack of a pharmacist in our town, just over the border at another Walgreens in North Carolina, we had our first experience with the pharmacy in Clayton. We had the pleasure of speaking to an employee named Ethan. When explaining our dilemma and having our Dr transfer the prescription to Clayton, I had to speak with Ethan twice over the phone. How refreshing it was to have an employee that actually cared about us. He even remembered who I was before we made the trip down to make sure it was ready for the pickup as it was a longer drive than our usual Walgreens. To have a nice young gentleman treat us with such respect and happiness to help was something we have been yearning for. To top it off, the pharmacist actually came to the pickup window and explained everything about the prescription personally without us even asking. Walgreens has made the most wonderful choice in hiring these two gentlemen. If corporate reads these, please take note, as Ethan could teach a class on how to respect and treat their patients. To those in the public, to have an enjoyable experience from just going to the drugstore, you will be glad to know that our younger generation has people like this able to help us as we get older. And also, the professionalism of our pharmacist here was so wonderful, we took the time to actually acknowledge them and leave this review. Highly recommended.”

“Stopped here for lunch on the way through Clayton with friends. This place is as advertised - good fare for a fair price. We had the meatloaf (special of the day) and hamburger steaks along with a variety of sides. They have a number of standard sides that are on the menu. However, they have other sides that come and go throughout the week - different side salads, beans of the day, and casseroles. Today’s beans were lima beans and great northern beans, salads included a tomato, onion and cucumber salad and, finally, casseroles included hash brown casserole and broccoli casserole. We were too full for dessert but they are made in house and looked for delicious. The cafe is attached to a coffee shop with access to the desserts there as well. We would definitely recommend!”
