“I like this IGA because they keep a close eye on expiration dates and everything I buy is fresh. The inventory is quite large for a small store. I love the crew there also.”
“Love their deli! You can get a dinner plate with a large fresh fried chicken breast, one or two vegetables and a roll, cornbread, or biscuit. With one side it is $6, two sides $7. Go over to Longstreet cafe and the same plate is $11. Ingles plates are delicious!! They even make THE BEST chicken salad!! Chicken Salad Chic has nothing on Ingles fresh made!! I love the clean store, the produce is sublime, they have great prices on their meats, and the staff are always smiling, offering to help, ask if you'd like help with getting your purchases to your car..it's like a valet grocery store! I love, love, love it!!!”

New owners of the IGA Food Basket have really stepped it up with great meat selections and lots of other new products! Locals need to share their patronage and keep this local store going for many years to come.”

“They have tons of stuff. You can spend a lot of time here looking at merchandise. They also have a food store. Some food products are out of date so watch out for that. They have an overwhelming amount of jarred goods. The meat looks delicious. I will be trying some bacon soon. I had a deli sandwich, $5.99. It was stacked with meat and was fresh. The staff was friendly.”

“My husband and I were house/dog sitting for friends and we were both a little under the weather so I didn't want to have to drive to Cornelia or Gainesville for dinner. I stopped in at Lula Grocery to see if they had ground beef for a quick dinner fix. I was surprised that this little gem also had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions & potatoes. They also had a little grill in the back that made fresh take out, chicken and Hunt's Brothers Pizza. I couldn't pass it up so I got a pizza to go as well. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend it. The pizza was hot and tasty. Thank you!”

“Ingles is a great supermarket offering top-of-the-line customer service with helpful, friendly employees that you will not find at many other stores. The store in Gainesville, located on Thompson Bridge Road, is warm and inviting, and they always have a great selection of fresh bakery items and produce to choose from. I love the well-lit store, but the large unobstructed isles make it easy to find what you want and not feel crowded or rushed. I stopped today to pick up a fresh Bakery French bread loaf. It is the best you will find and always fresh. The quality of all of the items I purchase at Ingles is superior to any other grocery store I shop at.”
“Dollar stores are great. They also carry Love Beauty & Planet shampoo and conditioner for a reasonable price so I get it there. My of them are also installing freezers and produce sections along with self check out which is super great especially in rural areas where the nearest grocery store is 20+mins away. They also have the donation box for adult literacy which is very helpful and I personally have been helped by those funds as they go to scholarships for GED testing so kudos DG you're great.”

“I was from out of town and stopped in to get a few things. Was able to find what I needed and was in and out in 10 mins. The lady at check out was super sweet and had me laughing. We need more people like her doing that job. In fact had an issue with digital coupons and another (guessing manager) employee came to help. It was resolved quickly with a great attitude. Left with items and a smile. Thank you for a pleasant dg shopping experience!”
“While visiting the area from out of town we stopped in for a notebook and the lady working tonight was the sweetest lady. She seen my daughter discovered the fall decor clearance and had a few things in her hands and brought her a basket to put them in. She congratulated her on her upcoming college graduation and was the sweetest. This is what customer service should be like. Loved the down to earth vibe she put off.”
