“Produce is a great price and good quality! A very wide selection of meats, fruits, veggies and other foods! :) Publix is super expensive, but I can get a full cart of produce, meats, milk and eggs (etc.) for under $200”

“Love their deli! You can get a dinner plate with a large fresh fried chicken breast, one or two vegetables and a roll, cornbread, or biscuit. With one side it is $6, two sides $7. Go over to Longstreet cafe and the same plate is $11. Ingles plates are delicious!! They even make THE BEST chicken salad!! Chicken Salad Chic has nothing on Ingles fresh made!! I love the clean store, the produce is sublime, they have great prices on their meats, and the staff are always smiling, offering to help, ask if you'd like help with getting your purchases to your car..it's like a valet grocery store! I love, love, love it!!!”

“They make the best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever had (yes even better than chicken salad chick as so many enjoy)! They have a lot of wonderful cold and warm options for lunch and everyone is so personable. If they were to ever expand their store with more options, I would solely shop there. I’m so glad I was introduced to Green’s grocery!”

“Aldi offers a “No frills” approach to grocery. with decent economical savings.
Don’t expect to find ‘fresh dill weed’ in their refrigerated produce case. A good amount of their produce stays unrefrigerated, and I’ve noticed it spoils more quickly because of it.
They have zero baggers and do not offer free sacks unlike other groceries. Use one of their boxes left over from stocking, or bring your own reusable bags.
Don’t even try to telephone them to see if they have your favorite cereal in stock. They do not even pretend to answer the phone for customer service. Furthermore, I do not recall ever hearing one iota of music, classical or otherwise. Would be splendid if they did! How much could that cost them?

On some more positive notes, Aldi offers a
great selection of affordable cheeses, grated and otherwise.
Unique affordable gifts pepper one of the front aisles (eg. Queen Thermal blanket cost a mere $15 last week)
Aldi, being a German company, imports and offers excellent Belgian chocolates for a fraction of the cost elsewhere.
At Christmas, they offer a tin of “Mexican Wedding Cookies” which I would swear were homemade.(Quite delectable)
Their Almond Kringle (pastry) is a delight to taste, but sells out before you can say, “Jack Sprat”!
Jack MIGHT be nimble and quick if He would stop eating these above cheeses and confections!
As I have adjusted to their spartan quirks, I like shopping here, and have even enjoyed boxing my own groceries. Boxes are easier to carry out than plastic sacks!
No boxing gloves are required .”

“All Dollar General stores are always a little different. Considering that, this store had to have water cleaned up from a busted sprinkler line the day we were there. They were open & taking care of their customers!!! So they were a little in disarry but, I love the fact they didnt close up! This has always been a great store.”

“Ingles is a great supermarket offering top-of-the-line customer service with helpful, friendly employees that you will not find at many other stores. The store in Gainesville, located on Thompson Bridge Road, is warm and inviting, and they always have a great selection of fresh bakery items and produce to choose from. I love the well-lit store, but the large unobstructed isles make it easy to find what you want and not feel crowded or rushed. I stopped today to pick up a fresh Bakery French bread loaf. It is the best you will find and always fresh. The quality of all of the items I purchase at Ingles is superior to any other grocery store I shop at.”

“Easy in and out. Great selection of harder to find products. A little on the pricy side but mostly worth it. Awesome meat selection, the produce left a little to be desired but overall good for what it is. Will definitely go back for more goodies.”

“The best and freshest meats around!! Been shopping here since the store open. It is the only place I buy any kind of meats except Quality foods in Cornelia (being second choice for the best and freshest meats)!! J&J has some amazing sales as well, especially with their anniversary being in June and then they have a 3 week special sale every week before the 4th of July!!!(Staff is friendly and very helpful also!
