“Great meats, ground beef, ribs, steaks, roasts, etc ... Great lunch and dinner plates. Awesome fried chicken, some of the best I've tasted. Green beans, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese. Sometimes desert. They have a great deli with cold cuts and cheeses. An all around great place to shop.”
“Fresh produce and an insane amount of variety on canned goods, sodas, snacks and more. Their homemade salsa comes in huge variety and is easily my favorite items from the store. Try the hoot n hollar spicy pickles 😋”

“My husband and I were house/dog sitting for friends and we were both a little under the weather so I didn't want to have to drive to Cornelia or Gainesville for dinner. I stopped in at Lula Grocery to see if they had ground beef for a quick dinner fix. I was surprised that this little gem also had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions & potatoes. They also had a little grill in the back that made fresh take out, chicken and Hunt's Brothers Pizza. I couldn't pass it up so I got a pizza to go as well. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend it. The pizza was hot and tasty. Thank you!”

“Dollar stores are great. They also carry Love Beauty & Planet shampoo and conditioner for a reasonable price so I get it there. My of them are also installing freezers and produce sections along with self check out which is super great especially in rural areas where the nearest grocery store is 20+mins away. They also have the donation box for adult literacy which is very helpful and I personally have been helped by those funds as they go to scholarships for GED testing so kudos DG you're great.”

“While visiting the area from out of town we stopped in for a notebook and the lady working tonight was the sweetest lady. She seen my daughter discovered the fall decor clearance and had a few things in her hands and brought her a basket to put them in. She congratulated her on her upcoming college graduation and was the sweetest. This is what customer service should be like. Loved the down to earth vibe she put off.”

“I was from out of town and stopped in to get a few things. Was able to find what I needed and was in and out in 10 mins. The lady at check out was super sweet and had me laughing. We need more people like her doing that job. In fact had an issue with digital coupons and another (guessing manager) employee came to help. It was resolved quickly with a great attitude. Left with items and a smile. Thank you for a pleasant dg shopping experience!”
