“Friendly employees, and honestly the only Dollar General I have been to regularly that is well stocked and you do not have to dodge inventory in the aisles. It is clean and inventory is ACTUALLY ON THE SHELVES. Not missing or still packed in crates and boxes that are in the way. Seriously other stores should follow their example.”
“I used to shop at the Dollar General in Winterville, as it’s right up the road from me. One of the managers, I believe her name is Nancy, has always provided excellent customer service to myself and anyone that walks through the door! I recently found out she moved store locations. Even though it’s out of my way to shop at, because of the way she ran the store and made me feel welcomed and appreciated each trip, I will now shop here in Hull. Great employees don’t get the recognition like they should, so I’m taking my time to thank Dollar General for this WONDERFUL employee!”

“My son and I just stopped in to use the restroom on a trip just passing through, but I was so impressed by the organization of every single item. All drinks were perfectly lined up. Everything appeared clean; the bathrooms smelled nice. There were two employees working, and when I told them how impressed I was with the organization, one employee gave credit to the other, which was cool. So, dude with the pink fro, you rock! I hope your hard work is rewarded.
And yes, we ended up making a purchase.”
“I would just like to say I am very impressed with the employees at this Winterville Ga Dollar General. It is the only one I have been in that is actually clean and looks like it is worked in. “Honestly I love this DG. Really it’s the memories I love. One time we stopped in to get some movie snacks, and we witnessed a robbery of some Little Debbie snacks. The police showed up to investigate and the guy behind the counter re-enacted the scene for us. The robber got away on bicycle with his haul, and we made memories to last a lifetime.”

“There was a lady named Dee working about 30 min ago at the Cedar Shoals location. This store can be a little awkward but she made it worth the trip. She was a pleasant woman. Very kind and made me feel like she values every customer. I always try to leave good reviews when they are due.”
“In spite of being super busy they helped me find items that were still being unpacked. They were having issues with their freezers being out of order but that’s no fault of the employees. Very friendly staff.”

They have Shell gasoline and they also carry non-ethanol gasoline, off-road diesel (non Shell products) and a propane filling station as well as grab and go 20 lb cylinders. The staff is always friendly. They serve Hunt brothers pizza and have all the snacks and drinks you'd expect at a convenience store.They serve breakfast in the morning and have all the snacks and assorted drinks you could ask for.”
“One of the managers Elissa was very nice and very helpful when I came in to grab an order that was placed online for a customer. she didn't know what she was doing but she figured it out. I think she was nice and lovely ?? and she had a great attitude. Thank you”
