“First took my nissan to nissan dealership.Said run a diagnostic on it. They came back with (shot code) bad transmission).No code lights had ever popped up before, but is now. Shooting a code now and running rougher.$8000.oo total to make it run correctly. They stated no other problems. Its a 2011 nissan, do the math.All along me thinking it was dirty filters and tune up,some hoses.Took to Dalton Automotive Specialty, they did a quick check, ran codes..Immediately pointed out and told me (all)my engine issues, $450 for the job.My car runs like new, smooth and happy. Never had a transmission problem.Go to who you can Trust Dalton Automotive Specialists. They could have told me wild goose story too, but they didnt. Dalton Automotive Specialists were honest and good priced. Did a professional job. Their name says it all. Thank you !P.S Bad Nissan dealership.”

“Had problems on a trip from Florida to Tennessee. Oil light came on with a lot of white smoke coming out exhaust. It was 4 p.m. when we got to his shop after googling auto repair in Dalton. David was very busy and called several other shops to see if anyone could help us...all were to busy or closing. Said he would see what he could do if we could wait until he finished job he was doing. Found out we didn't have an oil problem, but a leaking coolant pump that the leaking coolant blew our oil sensor. We had him change our oil and he filled our coolant reservoir. Told us to keep an eye on our temperature gauge. Charged us a very nominal fee (way less than the simple oil change we had done before we left} and we finished our trip with no problems.When we tipped him for his service and kindness to an elderly couple, he did not want to take it, but we left him no choice {don't mess with old people} David was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable and certainly have taken advantage of us if he had wanted too.We will probably never see him again, but I feel like we made a friend that day....would give him a 10 if we could.”

“My family and I have had our cars serviced at Tate’s several times. They have fixed my power steering pump and general maintenance. I recently went to them for a brake check since they had recently been replaced elsewhere and were grinding. They cleaned them off as best as they could and did not recommend other work as anyone else would have. Thanks Mark!For my grandmother, she came in after having her car checked at the Nissan dealership with a quote of nearly 6k for a transmission replacement. After having the vehicle checked at Tate’s, they resolved the issue with a replacement of a bearing or something of the sort. She ended up paying a couple hundred instead. She was very happy with the service she received and her car is running perfectly.”
