The technicians are always so patient, gentle, and caring with her. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, compassionate and take the time to answer questions and explain everything thoroughly.
They have also been incredibly helpful with providing the health certificates my pet needs for travel to other countries, which has made the process so much easier and less stressful. It’s reassuring to know everything is handled carefully and correctly in one place.
Although appointments occasionally run a bit behind, it’s clear it’s because they are giving each pet the attention they deserve rather than rushing through visits. The level of care and dedication they provide makes it more than worth the wait. Last year, they saved Lizzie’s life when we came in and she had to have emergency surgery for pyometra. Dr. Cohn was very gracious with us and Maddie at the front desk helped us with our care credit when we were in a panic. They’ve also treated both our cats Milli and Remy with immense care! Wonderful staff and cannot recommend them enough ?

I ordered a Brazilian drip that was rich, but not bitter. I like a shot of Hazelnut flavor and two creams. The owner added a third at my request due to the richness.
The spot has an old school vibe including 1950s office equipment, chairs and tables, plus great soul music.
I will definitely be back for the coffee and also plan to try the delicious looking muffins.

The quesabirria tacos are the highlight. The meat is tender, and the onions and cilantro are very fresh. Serving the onions and cilantro on the side is a smart move — especially for those who think cilantro tastes soapy — and it gives customers control while preventing kitchen mistakes. The consommé has a wonderful bouquet of flavor and truly ties the dish together. That said, the tacos could use a little more salt to enhance the seasoning, and there’s slightly too much cheese, which takes away from the essence of a traditional birria taco.
The salsa is really tasty with a nice blend of spices that complements the meal well.
The sides were the biggest disappointment. The refried beans lacked flavor beyond the natural bean taste, and the rice was overcooked and appeared as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. It felt like significantly less care went into these compared to the tacos.
At $20, the portion size is more than enough for one person, so the value is solid.
Service was mixed. The initial greeting — “Are you picking up a to-go order?” — felt impersonal and slightly profiling based on how I was dressed. However, once seated, the table service itself was quite good and attentive.
There’s clear potential here, especially with that consommé, but consistency across the entire plate would elevate the experience significantly.
