“I go to this specific Publix for their pharmacy. It's quite the size difference from smaller ones at other stores and I like that. So far I have been treated with kindness and the staff at the pharmacy are well informed and give solid advice and sometimes it's not always asked”

“My husband and I have been coming here for what I feel has been over a year!! When I say you feel at home In this place I mean it. They make note to remember who you are, what your favorites are. I’m known for buying banana pudding weekly and I cannot be blamed with how good it is. I tell Lauren, the woman behind the magic of some of the homemade desserts that she puts some love in it everytime I buy it. The meats are a different story, I won’t buy meat anywhere else. You taste the difference and the quality is unmatched. I rave about this place to everyone and have had people tell me thank you for telling them about Wilkes!”

“I gave them five stars only because that dude Dave that works at the seafood counter. I'm not sure there is anything slower than their deli, alot of time I order and it says it will be ready in thirty mins , I show up thirty mins later and do all my shopping and still wait. Not sure if that dude Dave is a manager , but if he isn't he ought to be. I literally watch people pack meat and state at my at the seafood counter then ten mins late come and help me and it's the dude that's been staring at me. That dude Dave is always there, always clean, presentable, always helpful, guy comes out from behind the counter to answer questions and show me things. Just an absolute pleasure to deal with , alot of time is someone else is working I'm just walking by and will get it another day when Dave's there .”

“This pharmacy has been such a blessing. Our dog battles with idiopathic epilepsy and they have always been SO AMAZING making sure we have the meds needed to help keep this awful disease away. The pharmacy techs are always super nice and helpful!!! Thank you guys!!!”
“For 22 years now I've been going to the Kroger that only for the pricing and convenience, but for the pharmacy, the pharmacy team, the Kroger team. They are all dedicated and committed to the store, and I've watched many iterations of this location over the years.As we struggle into 2023, with high prices on food and produce, and every day items I now drive, 30 miles to come to this Kroger to be with my people that recognize me and he'll serve me for so long. My Christmas dinner was a standing rib roast I bought here and they continually get the frozen shrimp and cod to feed the family during the week of the budget and they still have chicken, less than any other place offering chicken breast, thighs or wings if you can find them.I only know one way to pay tribute to this location is post some dishes I've made with their bargains and let them know that the job they do is important and appreciated and as I've had to adjust my budget to accommodate inflation, Kroger has been there all the way! I couldn't do without my Kroger. Highly recommend.”

are like my 2nd family.

“I’ve used Publix pharmacy for over 15years and the last 7 yrs at this store. The customer service 98% of the time has been excellent. I even got my 84 yr old mother to start going here because of such bad service at the Kroger across the street. Lisa, Matt & all the staff strive for good customer service and I appreciate it. “For those who are wondering the reason this store keeps closing early is because the current manager Lisa her poor soul has been working and waking up at 4 am to work all by herself as they are severely understaffed and she literally is working even if she is sick. They try our best to provide the best service and to keep the store running but it is not possible if you dont have the people to keep it running.”
“This Kroger surprises me every time I shop here. 5 star for all the ways this Kroger is. If you want the bathroom to randomly be renovated, come to this Kroger. If you want staff to look at you in weird ways, come here. If you want items to be moved around at random, this is the store for you. If you want prices to be marked up and down at weird intervals, well have I got the Kroger for you. This Kroger is the weirdest yet funniest Kroger I've been to. If their was a people of kroger or Kroger if Kroger's, this would be the one featured. 5 star because you gotta experience it to believe it. Shout out to the Pepsi guy vs Coke guy arguing. It's all about perspective and you've got to experience this Kroger to see it all!”
