“Renting a climate-controlled storage unit from Compass Self Storage was quick, efficient, and dare I say enjoyable! The manager, Kelly, very clearly laid out my options for a storage unit and listened patiently as I listed the items I will be storing. He allowed me to view available units and apprised me of a special going on that helped save me some money. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polite. The facilities themselves are extremely clean and obviously well-maintained. The unit I chose looked brand new. I’ve used several self-serve storage companies in the past, but none are managed and maintained as well as Compass. I highly recommend this Compass location!”

To save costs, we pre-moved smaller items and disassembled furniture. The online quote process was simple, and Lauren W. was helpful and responsive.
The moving crew, led by Joseph, was professional, efficient, and careful with our belongings, especially our piano. The final cost was slightly higher than the estimate, but we felt it was fair.
Pros:
- Joseph (crew chief), Jayson, and Karchie did a great job. They were friendly, enthusiastic, hard working, and communicated well.
- They moved 2 heavy refrigerators at the “new house” when asked.
- They appreciated that I had taken time to disassemble furniture beforehand and didn’t have any boxes they had to pack or load.
Cons:
Minor complaints: these can be corrected by their crews being more aware of surroundings at customers houses.
- They left used and empty tape rolls, trash, and soda bottles in the rooms instead of cleaning them up.
- After they had left for lunch, I did a walk-through at the “old house” and discovered one of them had forgotten to take their drill they used to assemble some furniture. They were glad when I gave it to them and seemed embarrassed that it had happened.
Final thoughts:
- OTM is a great company to have you help with your move. I felt the prices were fair and the workers they employed were great.
- While we didn’t run into serious issues (furniture damaged, personnel problems etc.) I’m confident that OTM upper leadership would not hesitate to make sure the problem was corrected and resolved.

The storage units were clean and fresh. It was an ease to rent one online. Ariana helped me rent the 2nd unit by phone, in a breeze. The whole storage site was clean and free of debris. I liked that there was parking at the side of each building, keeping the way clear for passing cars/trucks.”

I liked that I could set up a unit while I was busy at work, so when I finished I didn’t have to worry if I was going to miss out for the day. I appreciate the affordability of the units too.
Speaking of units, the facility looks very clean and crisp. It was easy to access all doors with my codes. I really liked the welcome bag that greeted me when I opened the unit for the first time. Made me smile. I was planning on only keeping the unit for a month or two, but honestly it’d be nice to keep it for longer.”
