“I recently went to the Post Office to apply for a passport. I mistakenly assumed passport services were available on a walk-in basis. When I arrived, the first employee I spoke with was kind enough to try to help me, but I didn’t have my original birth certificate. Even though it wasn’t during walk-in hours, she asked if I would be willing to go home, get the document, and return. I live in Union City, so that meant about a 40-minute drive each way, but I appreciated her willingness to assist.

When I returned, the employee who had originally helped me was no longer there. Another employee, Stephanie, called me to the counter and asked how she could help. I explained that I had returned with my birth certificate as instructed and that another employee had been helping me. Stephanie told me she would go get that employee. However, instead of following up, she continued helping other customers while I stood waiting without any explanation.

Thankfully, Cindy stepped in and asked what was going on. After I explained the situation, she immediately brought me to the counter and helped me complete the entire passport application process. She was professional, courteous, efficient, and had everything completed in about seven minutes. She reviewed my paperwork, had me sign the necessary documents, took my passport photo, processed my payment, and made the experience incredibly smooth.

I want to specifically recognize Cindy for her outstanding customer service and professionalism. She took the initiative to help when she saw a customer waiting and ensured the process was completed quickly and correctly. Her willingness to assist turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one.

Thank you, Cindy, for your excellent service. Employees like you make a real difference. The attitude from Stephanie was completely unnecessary.”

“Yes. This post office looks like it was old and forgotten, but I needed stamps and it was the closest to me.
In and out with one person ahead of me.
I didn’t know it was even here! The clerk was nice, no problems. ?”

“This location has made changes but that doesn’t make the clerks any less helpful! They do not provide walk-in passport services, this is no longer a drop-off location, and they can no longer provide free tape! Still the employees find a way to be on patient, personal, and budget friendly. I needed to ship a package to my mother in NJ it has glass and lotions inside.
The clerk I was working with black girl with twists helped me find the cheapest way to gift my mommy her Mother’s Day present! ?
It seemed like the crew pulled together when they overheard what I had inside to ship off and helped me pack my box safely! They were in the best mood just laughing with each other and one even roasting me! ?? I had fun and found myself not wanting to leave. They deserve a raise! Dealing with entitled people who come in there yelling, stealing shipping supplies, and just trying to bend the rules to serve their own interests… I work in customer service as well and I know these clerks have it hard. The only way they can get their jobs done is to stay positive! At this location I strongly recommend you go by just to say hello to the men and women who work here! They’d appreciate your kindness! People don’t always show up like them every day faithfully and attempting to try! A round of applause for these usps employees! Keep it up!!!”
