“We needed flowers and a cake for our grandmother's 90th birthday. The bakery was as expected and I was happy with the cake. The lady in the floral department was phenomenal! She saw us looking at different bouquets and offered help. We let her know what we needed. After listening to us and offering her advice she made magic with a couple bouquets. They turned out beautiful. If we need flowers again we will definitely be back to see her.”
“I recently visited ALDI in LaGrange, and although it's a smaller store compared to some grocery chains, it is always well-stocked and offers excellent prices. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything I needed, including the pineapple spears that can be hard to find at times. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop. The selection may not be huge, but they make great use of the space and keep the shelves full. If you're looking to save money without sacrificing quality, this is definitely a great place to shop. I'll be back!”
“This place has an enormous variety of products that aren't available at other stores in the area. The prices are excellent. The staff is friendly. The only downside is the produce section. There is not a large selection and it is far from fresh.”
“Buddy is awesome and so is his cousin. They always take care of me and brighten my day. They take great pride in hometown customer service and make me glad I moved here and found them.”
“Probably one of the best dg ive been too, super clean and organized, CeCe was our cashier and she was super sweet. Definitely will be going back if im in the area!”
“Overall good store with a mostly friendly staff. Occasionally the wait to check out is excessive because they tend to only have one person working & the shelves are continually being stocked. Hiring more staff could make this an excellent.”
“Always have a great experience at this store. The staff is nice and friendly. Everything is decently priced. The selection on the little things is always changing up which i find refreshing. And the games in the back keep my bf happy and our pockets full. Lol ?”
“Found this place by accident and I'm glad I did. Staff was extremely friendly and there is the restaurant and then there's the rest of the store that has a wide variety of food and drinks. My son insisted that I give them 5 stars since he had the two taco dinner and I concurred after eating the nachos followed with coke in a glass bottle. Perfect combo.”
“Bought 2 dozen live minnows 2 days ago and was very pleased! Last time I got minnows from another store and they were already floating but at Billy's the minnows were still alive today! Great place”
“The employees are usually nice at this store. Although they change frequently or rotate stores so I cant speak for them all. Store always seems cluttered though.”
“Used to be a cheaper place to get what you need without running all the way back in town, but prices are high for what you get. But as convenience there everywhere”
“This store has changed completely.. new people new vibes. I used to go in and nobody is around to help, I walked in and was greeted Loud and welcoming by Kali the new assistant manager….. very helpful…. The other associate Maleek even helped me lift a case of cans because I’m injured at the moment. Real good vibes”
“Only bad thing about it is that the self check out lines are always so long they will be backed in the aisles and instead of opening actual registers you will see 2-3 people just standing at the front of self check out talking and cutting up.”
“This is our favorite Dollar General in Lagrange. They have a great clearance section and wonderful customer service. We had a great experience checking out with the cashier, Kerri, who patiently price checked countless sale discounted items for us to consider purchasing. we went in for just a few things and walked out with 71 items total - many of which were less than $1!!! We plan on returning soon! Thank you Kerri for the professional kindness that made our day so much better:)”
“This place seems to always have lower gas prices for their side of town. The staff is friendly, they seem to have a good selection of snacks, and a large selection of lottery tickets. I would recommend stopping here. Also, a plus is they have a nice gentleman that sells fresh pork skins in the parking lot. He has a large variety of flavors and plus it's always good to support local business owners.”
“Doller general is a ok place because I don't have a ride i walk up there and I take a little food and drinks then i go back 2 days later and walk back home i live with my brother and his wife i live in a camper”
“(Translated by Google) Excellent customer service, you can find a variety of groceries and shipments...(Original)Excelente servicio al cliente, puedes encontrar variedad de abarrotes y envíos...”
“This is a small town gas station. So don't expect anything like the circle k here. But what you do get is great customer service they remember your name they offer drinks chips. They have a little deli where they make biscuits they offer fried Chicken. You can get fishing supplies and bait and of course your gas. if you are repeat customer and there's a particular drink that you would like or a certain type of snack you can request it and they'll try to get it for you the next time you come in. At Christmas time I was looking for a cranberry flavored ginger ale. He ordered some from his soft drink vendor just so I could have it. Now that's customer service. I am a repeat customer.”
“I had to stop by dollar general to pickup a few things. The cashier she said very nice and friendly and I had no problem finding what I needed so I got in and out in a snap”
“The Pharmacy on Commerce Dr in Lagrange GA is the most attentive, caring, and professional pharmacy that I have ever been too. Ver personable with cool personalities. Some of the pharmacist naturally know how to make you laugh when you're not feeling that great. Overall great experience every single time I go. Thank you Christian, Bre, Taylor, Katelyn, Ms Mary, Jamie, Alex, Arron, and Ms Tonga. Keep making customers smile.”
“Stopped by after the renovation and I’m really impressed! The new gas pumps are fast and easy to use, and the canopy lighting makes the station look modern and safe at night. Everything is super clean and organized. Definitely my new go-to spot!””
“Love how helpful this group is....these ladies are incredibly patient and informative ....always a great experience when filling prescriptions--my family went there for all our Covid shots and boosters....highly recommend.....”
“My favorite part of this Kroger is the floral dept. I love the vast variety of flowers and greenery they have for us to choose among! Always seem to be in the self checkout, usually the young lady over is very attentive and polite. A couple of times I have run into another younger attendant that seems to have something more important going on than her customers. But mostly the other one is working and its very enjoyable.”
“Most ppl will leave complaints as reviews. I always try to take time out to recognize great ppl or the good deeds they do. On the April 20th 2023, I came into this location. I couldn’t find what I came into the store for. When I had initially walked in to the store, I saw someone at the cash register., so I decided to go ask her if the store carried what I was looking for. She told me unfortunately they do not carry any currently. This super nice, caring, sweet, and lovely lady’s name is Takeisha. I was in a rush. Takeisha went ABOVE and BEYOND her job and personally had exactly what I was looking for and gave me her own personal item. It was such a kind gesture for a stranger and employee to do for me. Hell, most of the time I am at any store, I can never find, much less get an employee to help me. A lot of retail workers will not even acknowledge a customer, act like the customer is a hassle, or will go out of their way to dodge a customer. I know this bc ive been in retail mgmt most of my life. That is why I always try to make a point to acknowledge great customer service especially when the staff member goes out of their way for the customer. As long as you guys keep Takeisha in this location and only hire ppl like Takeisha, I will always be a customer at this location. If she is not a mgr at this location, she NEEDS to be. We did speak for a brief second and I found out that she graduated from Troy University with a Masters degree as well as another degree. She is extremely well qualified on the educational front and definitely well qualified on the customer service front. Takeisha, If you see this, thank you soooo much for your help again!!! You are too kind, a person who thinks about other people, and you have a huge heart!!! P.S. DG, I need her to get a raise and get the recognition she deserves for her kind selfless act. ❤️❤️❤️”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
