“I want to give a shout out to my delivery post woman, Ms Orlanda Whelps Mc4, here inMapletonGA. She is our postwoman for our home. My Overnight Express was due 4 days ago, on Saturday, but was lost. It was my heart medication & I was TERRIFIED that it was permanently lost. I called the 800# & got nowhere further, other than them assigning me a case number & saying an investigator would call me by Feb 29th- tomorrow.? So when I stopped my delivery mail lady and told her my scary predicament, she went ABOVE & BEYOND her duties, said she would PERSONALLY FIND IT FOR ME, & kindly gave me her # for updates.? By this morning she FOUND it and said I would be her "very first mail stop" bc she worried for me without my heart meds. And by 1pm, she PERSONALLY delivered it to me (she normally does only the daily mail deliveries, and not any kind of priority & express mail. That's normally someone ELSE. But TODAY she did for me!? I would like to THANK Ms Orlanda for her compassion & kindness to me, when she could have easily jus pushed me off back to the 800# and tell me there was nothing she personally could do. BUT SHE DIDNT!? People need to realize that our USPS DELIVERY post men/women work incredibly hard, are very overworked, underpaid, & have to deal with a lot of difficulties out in the field, 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year,no matter the WEATHER.? So next time you see your usps delivery person, instead of complaining about something, maybe jus say hi to them & ask how their day is going, or give them a Starbucks gift card, or bake them some fresh hot cookies. Because they really are our silent heroes.???”

“DD's is owned by Ross or vice versa. Anyway, there are great finds. This is the only place that I buy my dog clothes, panties and pj's from. They have the same fruit of the loom packs for $5. Night grows are super comfy and cheap. I got a black DKNY dog shirt for $6. Can't beat it. I love the homes department too. Oohh and they have cleaning supplies. I also get skirts (maxi, pleated) for about $8. Can't beat it. Clothes are hit and miss because I dress business casual mostly all of the time but you can really find good buys here. Don't think of it as a cheap store. It's a spin off of Ross with less name brands. Try it. You'll find something!!”

“I am so excited to finally find a post office that is helpful and kind! I have always dreaded going to any postal office as employees are usually so rude and barely crack a smile. Lisha was working today and she was so nice and helpful. This will now be my new post office going forward!”

“We love this post office. However, we live in Clarkdale directly across the street. We are forced to pay for PO Boxes because the USPS denies us delivery service. Fix this!!”

“This is the best post office in the area. The Mableton location and Lithia Springs location are both terrible. So, I often drive a little further to avoid them and go to the Austell location. They are much faster and friendlier than the other locations.”

“I had the best experience today at the Windyhill post office. The day before we mailed something by accident and my boss asked me to retrieve it today. This lovely lady (her name starts with an R) went and dug through the mail and retrieved it for me.”

“I'm leaving a 5 star review not for USPS but for the most amazing Wanda and Tim (I hope I got the gentleman's name right as I forgot to ask for it!)I was in a lot of distress when I came into the post office today, as a very important package from overseas was never delivered for almost a week despite the tracking claiming that a 'notice was left' and despite scheduling a redelivery. Calling USPS was completely useless, in fact I had just gotten off the phone with a USPS agent who told me she was a hundred percent certain that the package had been returned to the sender the day before, and that there was no way to intercept it - which only caused further confusion and distress because, how could they send it back across the world without ever attempting to deliver it? What's the point of a postal service then?Despite it being closing time, Wanda took the time to help me out and she did so in the kindest, most patient way possible - even though it was past closing time. Both Wanda and the kind gentleman really showed how much they cared and I really appreciated it because they must experience similar situations all the time, yet they still treated it with importance. And eventually the package was found!USPS sucks, but there are amazing people at this post office and USPS should thank their lucky stars to have people like them.”

“Erica, in the passport area did an outstanding job! Brought my daughter in for a passport recently and Erica walked us through the entire process. She was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the process. 5 stars for Erica and please give her a raise or bonus!”

“Diana Lloyd is the sole reason I will continue to come back to this location. She is always a delight and gives excellent customer service. I know working at the post office is difficult because of the customers who come in demanding this and that, but Diana is never fazed by it and keeps a cool attitude. Please keep her around!”

“I went today to mail 2 cards and 2 small envelopes. The postal worker advised the customer in front of me that the price of stamps would be increasing this week which prompted me to buy a book. She was very friendly and provided great customer service.”

“This USPS is located off of Cascade Rd on Herring. It's walking distance from the Beautiful. This location is usually busy. Yet, the staff here are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. There are two older women who rotate the front desk. And, only one person working at a time - like most other Post Office locations in this area. Which can lead to long lines and waits. If someone needs to go pull mail that was on hold or grab a lost package, you'll be there for awhile. A large majority of customers here are older, so they're usually buying stamps and need more attention than someone buying postage or dropping off a package. Since Covid, they have signs requesting you wear masks and only 4 people are allowed in at a time. And, there is tape marking the 6 foot spacing. However, the line wraps around the atrium and you sometimes have people waiting outside. If they had two people at the front desk for when the line backs up, it would make more sense. You can hear people working in back and I'm unsure the reasoning but no one comes out to help speed things along. Overall, it's one of my top USPS locations to patronize.”

“I am amazingly surprised about how great my experience was at this facility's passport agency. We had to acquire 2 minors approvals and applications for passports (new) and did the appointment process online to make an appointment for noon. We walked in, there wasn't a line at all, they had the appointment down, and Danny was absolutely amazing in the entire process. He was super nice and pleasant, knew extensively his job and what needed to be done, and he had us processed and out the door in less than 20 minutes for doing 2 new passport applications for minors. It was truly a 5 star service from Danny at this facility for passport services!!”

“Was this post office slow? Yes. Are most post offices slow? Yes.Was there a lady ahead of me in line was about to lose her mind tapping on her box, stomping her foot, smacking her teeth, and looking around like she wants to vent to someone and no one would make eye contact with her? Yes. Did I love the free entertainment? Absolutely.”

“I drop off my packages daily and they are quickly scanned and the staff is super friendly. Being an eBay reseller customer is very important and the staff here is fantastic. Headed there now with 20 more packages and definitely expect the same service as the previous 100 trips. Thank you!”

“Disclaimer: This review is only in regards to the clerks at the desk.Had an international package that required a signature come in and although I was home, heard no knock, and was left with a redelivery slip.I immediately completed the online form where I indicated that I would pick it up in person the next day so as to not miss the knock a second time. Two trips and lots of searching later it turns out the delivery driver must have taken my package back on the truck although they should not have and then additionally left the package in the incorrect pick up spot at the post office. While that was not the most ideal experience, the front clerk Brittany was very polite and helpful. Checking for at least 10 minutes each time and even calling the driver the second time to try to figure out where the package was. While I was waiting, the two other clerks also were getting through the line quickly and were polite to all of the customers they helped.Shout out to those 3 women for all they do given the circumstances ❤️”

“I'm giving this place 5 stars since the postal employees are trying to do their best given the circumstances. It's true that they're only open to the public from 12:30-2:30. I suggest going right when they open or when they close. The line is miles long if you go in between.”
