“DD's is owned by Ross or vice versa. Anyway, there are great finds. This is the only place that I buy my dog clothes, panties and pj's from. They have the same fruit of the loom packs for $5. Night grows are super comfy and cheap. I got a black DKNY dog shirt for $6. Can't beat it. I love the homes department too. Oohh and they have cleaning supplies. I also get skirts (maxi, pleated) for about $8. Can't beat it. Clothes are hit and miss because I dress business casual mostly all of the time but you can really find good buys here. Don't think of it as a cheap store. It's a spin off of Ross with less name brands. Try it. You'll find something!!”

“Mr. Michael is the absolute best!! You dont find customer service like that anymore. Spoke well with positive interactions, friendly, & willing to help. Think he’s been with USPS for a while. He looked familiar from a previous visit. Not sure about the internal stuff, but for a service associate he’s the man. No debate! Im literally sitting in the parking lot of this location to type this review. I’ll gladly bypass the office on Floyd Rd to come see him at this location. Thanks Mr Mike!”

“We love this post office. However, we live in Clarkdale directly across the street. We are forced to pay for PO Boxes because the USPS denies us delivery service. Fix this!!”
“Went to the passport office. Danny who leads that office is a great guy. He’s type A for sure so make sure you’ve filled all your paperwork out and have a check ready or he’ll be on you like a stray dog on a dropped hotdog. And don’t try to argue—he’s going to win.”
“The postal delivery person helped my handicapped husband put our trash can on the street and our elderly neighbor as well. She is such a pleasant person and excellent delivery too . God bless her.”

I have used this post office numerous times since it is near my office. Each time I’ve witnessed Ms. Marva’s forever smile and dedication to ensuring each of us a positive experience.
Ms. Marva is a breath of fresh air in a time that we seem to have normalized poor service.”

“I've been to this location countless times for work at sporadic times and have never had an issue. The lines have always been quick and the employees always helpful.”
“This USPS is located off of Cascade Rd on Herring. It's walking distance from the Beautiful. This location is usually busy. Yet, the staff here are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. There are two older women who rotate the front desk. And, only one person working at a time - like most other Post Office locations in this area. Which can lead to long lines and waits. If someone needs to go pull mail that was on hold or grab a lost package, you'll be there for awhile. A large majority of customers here are older, so they're usually buying stamps and need more attention than someone buying postage or dropping off a package. Since Covid, they have signs requesting you wear masks and only 4 people are allowed in at a time. And, there is tape marking the 6 foot spacing. However, the line wraps around the atrium and you sometimes have people waiting outside. If they had two people at the front desk for when the line backs up, it would make more sense. You can hear people working in back and I'm unsure the reasoning but no one comes out to help speed things along. Overall, it's one of my top USPS locations to patronize.”
“Before visiting the United States Postal Service location in East Point, GA, I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant. I had read several negative reviews mentioning poor customer service and overcharging, so I went in expecting the worst. Thankfully, my experience was the complete opposite.
From the moment I stepped up to the counter, USPS employee T. Jones completely changed my perception of this location. She was extremely pleasant, professional, and efficient, even while handling a steady flow of customers. What stood out the most was her ability to remain calm, patient, and genuinely helpful no matter the situation in front of her.
T. Jones was not only quick but also a truthful and knowledgeable problem-solver. She took the time to clearly explain options, answer questions honestly, and ensure each customer was taken care of properly without rushing or showing frustration. It was clear she takes pride in her work and understands how much good customer service matters, especially in a fast-paced environment like the post office.
Thanks to her, my visit was smooth, stress-free, and efficient. Experiences like this deserve recognition, especially when employees go above and beyond despite the negative reputation that sometimes surrounds their workplace.
If you’re on the fence about visiting the East Point USPS location, I highly recommend giving it a chance and if you’re lucky enough to be helped by T. Jones, you’re in excellent hands. She is a true asset to the United States Postal Service and a great example of what customer service should look like.”

“I'm giving this place 5 stars since the postal employees are trying to do their best given the circumstances. It's true that they're only open to the public from 12:30-2:30. I suggest going right when they open or when they close. The line is miles long if you go in between.”
“I arrived at my appointment for a first time passport and photo service on time and was seen immediately, I already had my passport application (DS-11) printed out at fed ex for less than $5 before I went and that made it hassle free. This location DOES NOT DO WALK INS! APPOINTMENT ONLY! BE ON TIME! The ladies were so sweet. I was in and out!”

“My service today was exceptional. It was my first time actually going inside to the counter for service. One lady was trying to keep up with all the foot traffic coming in. However, there was a line. A gentleman came up to the counter to assist the other postal worker. He got the lines moving. He was very courteous, friendly and his attitude was exceptional. He made my experience a very pleasant one just by having a friendly conversation and looking me in the eyes when he communicated. This was a perfect example of what real customer service feels like. We need more like him, please. I don't know his name but my receipt says clerk 9. Thank you, Sir! Job well done and much appreciated. 👏🏾
