“We love this place! We bring both of our rescue pitties here to see Dr. Cavanaugh and she is so thorough and caring. One of our dogs is pretty reactive in the waiting room and the other is so scared, she can barely get through the doors. The staff handle them both so well and make us feel so supported when bringing them in. They make the whole process smooth from beginning to end and we’re so grateful we found somewhere that cares so much about their patients!”

Dr. Milby and the entire staff are incredibly compassionate and caring. After each session, Brock Lee is noticeably more relaxed and playful. If your pet is still experiencing pain despite other medications, I highly recommend giving acupuncture a try.”

“Our journey with Apex started 10 years ago when we moved to Smyrna and brought our then 3 year old Golden Retriever, Hudson to Dr. Cary, who had just opened Apex. Immediately we knew we were in wonderful hands with not only her, but the entire staff.
Over Hudson's almost 9 years as a patient, he, and us, were treated with kindness and love, always receiving the best care. When our boy got sick, Jamie carried him from my car, all 80 lbs of him, into a room and back and forth for his testing. When we said goodbye to him, I could see their genuine compassion, and they were so respectful of our last moments with him. Our family is eternally grateful for all they did.
This is why there wasn't any question of where we'd bring our new girl. Dr Cary, Barbara, Kari, and all the other vet tech are the best around, and I can not recommend them highly enough.”

“My dogs mean so much to me and finding someone that treats them right and cares about them means the world to me. I have had vets in the past that have been awful. This is not one of those places. Every person I have interacted with here have been so kind. They have genuinely loved my dogs and have not feared them either. I have some big babies too. When I had to put them down, even though it was the worst situation and I was a mess, they made it as easy for me as possible and I will never be able to thank them enough for that.
If you're looking for people who care about animals, I recommend this location and these people.”

Dr Joyce and her staff are polite, efficient, and willing to answer or find the answers to my questions. I appreciate the ability to purchase meds(heart worm etc...) monthly or multiple months at the time to accommodate if needed. My puppy is a bit skiddish and somewhat shy. They have been gentle and patient with him and we have had a great experience!”

“We adopted our cat from a shelter, and over time we realized she had a waxy ear issue that wouldn’t go away. She had a constant leaky ear—it was wet, smelly, and waxy. Our regular veterinary clinic suggested that we take her to this place, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. There, we were told she had a polyp growing in her ear and that her body was trying to fight it. She had to undergo surgery to have it removed. Since the surgery, which was almost two years ago, she has had no more issues. Her ear has been dry and healthy ever since. This place saves pets’ lives and deserves all the praise!”

“As I said I was going to come back and 'spill the beans', my reading review remains a five as I am happy with their boarding service. Since my cat didn't eat like she normally would, I was giving back two cans of food that I brought there for her. Sure, it might seem like a small thing, but I appreciate it nevertheless. At least the employees told me when I called to check on her that Miracle wasn't eating much, not like my "(Christian)neighbors" that lied to me when I had them look after my cat once.”
“I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. My dog Scooby is not an easy patient . He is very reactive - lunging, snarling, barking — the whole nine yards. It is not an easy situation for anyone involved.
Despite how difficult he was, the doctor and staff treated him with patience, calm professionalism, and dignity. There was no frustration, no judgment — just steady, confident care. They safely got him wrapped, treated his ear, and made sure he received the medication he needed without escalating the situation.
As a pet owner, that level of compassion means everything. Thank you for handling a very tough case with such kindness and skill. We are so grateful.”

He never once made us think he was being inconvenienced to switch gears, disrupt his schedule and cared for my boy. He is kind, caring and has such an easy going chilled manor that makes you feel at ease. He deserves a gold star. I trust him with their life and that’s huge to me”
“Brought my baby here cus we had a lil medical scare. They were able to get us in as a walk the day after Christmas & the front desk staff eased my worries as soon as I walked in by cracking me UP. ?
