Shaun is the best ever and she tries to keep the right people in the right places to do their job better. In turn helps the customers get in and get out faster. “I have been searching all the local Dollar Generals looking for a specific throw pillow. Over the last week, this is the 10th Dollar General I have been in. Although they did not have what I was searching for, I had to submit this review based on the cleanliness and organization of this store. The floors were sparkling and there were no boxes blocking the isles. All the merchandise was on the shelves, not stacked in the way of the shoppers. I did ask an employee about what I was looking for. She was friendly and apologetic. So nice!! I was so impressed with this store! I hope upper management sees and appreciates how this store is being ran and other Dollar General stores should TAKE NOTES! Give these employees a raise!”

“Probably the best Dollar Tree in Macon... It's stocked WAY better than the others, and typically cleaner, as well. The employees here are nicer and more knowledgeable than at other local Dollar Tree stores, too.”
“I will drive out of my way to go to this Dollar General! Love how it’s tucked away, big parking lot.. and very nice workers!! I use to be a caregiver to an elderly lady, and they helped us in and out of the doors.. and we’re so so sweet to us every time we went! Great job employees and management!”
“I enjoyed my visit today. I went in this morning, the manager looked up and smiled stating "Good Morning and welcome." Okay, okay?. Helped me find my items. She was polite, humble, warming and very pleasant. Everything a manager should be. This place is out of my way. But I'll gladly return to this store. Thank you Sharon McKenzie! “It is not located in an area where you would want to be at night. I don't recommend buying anything edible, but there are plenty of other items you can purchase and save $. The cashier was very lovely but vulnerable bc I didn't see anybody else working. I bought a can opener and a knife and fork bc my hotel's set of cutlery was limited and non-functional.The Curad band-aids were only one dollar and worth more at CVS etc..”
“Remodeled store is fantastic! Fresh salad, potatoes, plums, bananas ... it's great. Frozen section is expanded and prices still reasonable. Clean and well lit. Just left brought fresh cherries (eating now they are very good) and oranges. Definitely a asset and improvement for area.”

“They have great bargains. I found a Honeywell $59 fan for $39. The clothing and accessories are plentiful. They have a lot of great gift ideas too if you have the patience to look.”

“This location surprised me.i haven't been on here in a couple of years til a week back and then again a couple days ago and it's great.i love the fact that u walk in a get a nice greeting with smiles and happiness.the store is clean and has everything plus more then most dollar generals I've been to.its worth the 30 min drive.respect,kindness,and good hospitallity here.”
“The store was organized enough to find what I needed. There weren't boxes sitting everywhere. Upon entering the store, I was greeted. I went 2 days in a row at different times and received the same friendly customer service. I ask the cashier their names because they should be recognized. The cashiers name was Stefan and Zuri!! Kudos to them. Will definitely shop at this store again. I was able to get accessible parking both days.”

“Dollar World is a great place to pop in and looking around at their variety of items. You can find some good stuff specially when they get a new shipment in and they don’t mind helping you find some you are looking for. Don’t just take my word go and by and stop to see what you can find.”
“This Dollar General on Houston Road is a wonderful place to get your basic necessities, such as food, water, and toiletries.The area is a clean place to go shopping, and the shelves were always stocked when I come here.The staff are pretty nice people, as they are professional and friendly towards customers.Pricing is alright, but we can manage it.Overall, great local shop to go get snacks and water.”

“I do not understand why the stores are never fully stocked. I like Dollar General. It's easy to get in and out, but lately, they're just out of everything. The store I was in this afternoon, the stock room was full of carts with merchandise! Just sitting there. One young lady was working.”
