    “C&Js is a very friendly store and has whatever we need. we buy a lot of our meats and bread and misc and gas for our 2 vehicles. they are very difficult to get a job with however. my wife is retired from nursing and has tried 2-3 times every 2-3 months to get a job. she is very dependable ,honest and knows how to treat people. she was told owners only likes to hire young girls. she is an older women, but a very hard worker when given the chance. we really like the management and employees who work there.”

They cater heavily to Hispanic and Caribbean flavors but also have unique items like rabbit, chitterlings, and souse meat. Lots of adventurous choices. Great spice selection. It is worth a wander through if you've never been...you will see something new.”

I was looking for a item that they didn't have on the shelf, the store manager went in the back and got what I needed. I wish I would have gotten his name bc he was so polite friendly and helpful you could tell he really enjoyed his job. I was truly amazed bc most times now days people are rude and miserable rather it is grocery stores or restaurants so refreshing to feel like my business matters to him.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
