“To review the store, I love it. I will continue to shop here. The quality of food and other products is usually pretty good. The prices used to be better, but even Aldi, I guess, isn’t inmune to inflation. Right now, it’s trendy to shop Aldi. Hopefully the trend dies down some, because the demand is a bit much on the store staff. They can barely stock the shelves fast enough, and shoppers are leaving the isles disheveled. Maybe they should look into hiring more staff to compensate, as inflation is real and Aldi is affordable. With that said, I’ve never met an Aldi cashier or worker at this location that I didn’t like. They are always pleasant and welcoming. The current manager might be one of the best. He’s always on the store floor, pitching in by ringing up customers or stocking the isles. He always seems cool, calm and collected and he talks to the cashiers with respect and seems to have a good rapport. He even talks to us shoppers. This just adds to my love of shopping in this Aldi, good people and this store has always been synonymous.This may sound like a rant, but it’s worth noting. I’ve shopped this Aldi for YEARS. As a loyal customer, I’m sure I’m not alone in saying how these new customers are, I’m sure, great for the business but annoying for us who have shopped and enjoyed the peace and experience of going to Aldi. They all boast about the prices, while coming in and buying up everything, overcrowding isles, making messes and complaining about the lines. Yes, there is only ever one cashier, that is the service model Aldi has used since I’ve shopped here. Cashiers are also stocking the store when there isn’t a line. When the line gets long, they respond and open a second one. While I’ve always questioned if this model didn’t exploit the workers, I figure it’s a trade off of some responsibility since workers do not bag the actual groceries nor are they chasing after carts in the parking lot. So there is a level of simplicity that you do not get at any other store. I appreciate that. Instead of sharing that gratitude and admiring the work ethic Aldi requires, I’ve recently witnessed a couple new customers speak rudely to the hardworking cashiers or have entitled attitudes because the lines are too long. They never understand that shopping at Aldi is an experience in itself, or at least it used to be. What’s more is that these new shoppers are the same ones who complain about the “violence” on “that” side of town and villainize West Macon, yet here they are.”

“I have been searching all the local Dollar Generals looking for a specific throw pillow. Over the last week, this is the 10th Dollar General I have been in. Although they did not have what I was searching for, I had to submit this review based on the cleanliness and organization of this store. The floors were sparkling and there were no boxes blocking the isles. All the merchandise was on the shelves, not stacked in the way of the shoppers. I did ask an employee about what I was looking for. She was friendly and apologetic. So nice!! I was so impressed with this store! I hope upper management sees and appreciates how this store is being ran and other Dollar General stores should TAKE NOTES! Give these employees a raise!”

“It is not located in an area where you would want to be at night. I don't recommend buying anything edible, but there are plenty of other items you can purchase and save $. The cashier was very lovely but vulnerable bc I didn't see anybody else working. I bought a can opener and a knife and fork bc my hotel's set of cutlery was limited and non-functional.The Curad band-aids were only one dollar and worth more at CVS etc..”

“Meat is very cheap & the other miscellaneous very high, there's new owners now, but before the place was very nasty , very bad offer smell , used have bad & ghetto ppl.there hanging around smoking playing loud music. And the old owners hold let other ppl. Sell bootleg CDs & other items on the property. Now the new owners I see a big difference, it smells better, more room to walk by . the floors are much better now ( the floors was very dirty & blood water was on floor from the meat)but now there's new ownersNo hang outs , the staff much better/ helpful & nice the old staff had a nasty attitude & sit down every time I came to shop. I see a huge difference now .But would like to see better pricesI have to shop 2 stores , this place is known as the meat store . Cause the large section of meat & better prices but the other miscellaneous are very expensive. Also again I see a huge difference since the old owners left . They had an nasty attitude also.I wish they would wear uniforms instead of regular street clothes.& name tags or at least the same color.”

“We love the Fresh Market! The wide variety of foods from around the world keep us coming back. Great selection to choose from.Stopped in today to pick up some gum (Jen likes the little bags of gum they have at the registers). Just walked around looking. A guy in the meat department ( wish I had caught his name so I could mention it ) told us they were running a weekend special on premade burgers, so we grabbed some for supper. He was so helpful and friendly that we ended up picking up some steaks too. Potato salad from the deli and we were done. Very friendly and helpful today.”

“Remodeled store is fantastic! Fresh salad, potatoes, plums, bananas ... it's great. Frozen section is expanded and prices still reasonable. Clean and well lit. Just left brought fresh cherries (eating now they are very good) and oranges. Definitely a asset and improvement for area.”

“The store was organized enough to find what I needed. There weren't boxes sitting everywhere. Upon entering the store, I was greeted. I went 2 days in a row at different times and received the same friendly customer service. I ask the cashier their names because they should be recognized. The cashiers name was Stefan and Zuri!!
