Rodeway Inn is a quiet, off-the-main-path family business with very friendly and helpful staff who check on longer-term guests. Many guests find the rooms nice and clean, with one traveler noting the white towel test showed the floor was very, very clean with little to no dirt. The air conditioner works well and the sheets are clean. However, experiences vary significantly. Some guests report the rooms are not like the photos, describing them as gross, outdated, and in need of paint. Issues include old and worn bedspreads, blankets that stink from a seemingly moist environment, and a lack of fresh linens. Furniture is worn with chips, pillows have stains, and walls can be dirty. Some note unpleasant smells in the carpet and room, and problems with bathroom cleanliness. The metal bed frame has caused discomfort. While one guest found no evidence of pests, others warn of bad reviews mentioning roaches and bedbugs. Opinions on value are mixed, with some feeling it is not worth the price compared to nearby hotels.

It’s dingy, basic, might have homeless temporarily sheltered there. But. Hot water in shower was quick and plentiful. HVAC unit was fairly quiet as was the part of the motel we were placed in. Price was very cheap.
