“I recently purchased a Lowe Skorpion SS from The Sports Center. I bought the boat here in Georgia, even though I am from Florida. Yes, Florida. The land of boats. After talking to Austin a couple of times, I knew I would purchase my boat here. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and above all, honest. He let me know the good and the bad. When I changed my mind on the particular Skorpion I wanted, he checked to see if he had it, and the first thing he told me about the boat was that it had black rubber marks from the packaging (which they were able to remove later). I loved that. Very rare, old-school integrity. In addition, he answered my 1001 questions, and when he didn't have an answer, he went and got it and responded quickly. Everytime! In fact, I've emailed him with questions several times since, and he's always answered. How many times have you bought something and had the salesman and the kindness disappear with the check? Not this time.

I went and picked my boat up from Mr. Tommy on Saturday, and he was just as nice. He answered all my questions, and gave me a thorough rundown on the nuances of the boat. Thanks, Mr. Tommy.

All in all, this was one of the most pleasurable buys I have ever made, and I'm 63 and like to shop. The mechanics did an outstanding job: I had a 24-volt battery system and onboard charger installed along with an extra battery, a Minn Kota 70-lb thrust trolling motor put on instead of the standard 45-lb one, and a Lowrance Reveal 7 (just the mount is showing in my pic) to replace the smaller Lowrance that came with the boat. Every bit of the work and installation was first rate.

Lastly, The Sports Center is FULL of boats. They have many different boats from many different manufacturers. I came from Florida, and the mouth of the Suwannee River and Gulf of Mexico to Perry, GA. to buy this boat, not only because of the service, but because I couldn't find a Lowe Skorpion SS in stock anywhere in my immediate vicinity. Georgia had my boat at a great price; Florida didn't have my boat.
