“The Townsend service station is a auto repair shop built in 1953-5 but not under that name, it wasn't until the 1970's that it came under the ownership of Maxwell Townsend, my grandfather, and later my father and uncle. Gas used to be sold there until 2007 when the gas pumps and tanks were taken out. The building is bigger than it used to be, with a couple of additions made to hold equipment and parts, and a another entire building to hold lawnmower parts and new lawnmowers to sell in 1988. Servive Is good, both co-owners are there to provide the best service they can. A small selection of snacks and drinks is provided if you are hungry.”

“I was starting my return home leg of my 1k miles trip to Canton GA. I had passed this Chevron convenience store on the final 20 miles to Canton. The next day, I stopped in to fill my car's gas tank and get a soft drink. The lady at the counter was very personable and professional. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll probably stop there.”

“I just wanted to share my amazing experience at this racetrac! Makayla was very professional and nice! She shows me true southern hospitality every time I come into this store! She even knows my kids by name just cause we come there so often and it’s always a pleasure seeing her! Anytime I’m having an issue finding something she shows me exactly where it’s at! She even helps me too the car when I have a handful of stuff! (I have 5 little girls so any type of help is a blessing when going into a store!) one day one of my girls wasted a drink and she went above and beyond to help us out and I greatly appreciated that! I will continue to come to racetrac as long as she’s there! I highly recommend going to this location and ask for Makayla :)”

“Dog on it Nikki was working again I couldn't help but remember her from about eight months ago as I walked in I said you're still here and sounded it out. She is very special she loves her nails lol I couldn't help but notice her tapping the screen and said you have a talent for that. I kept trying to think of a nickname for her the queen of, dexterity and tapping just wasn't doing it. She's the queen of something but has a beautiful smile and a warm heart you can tell we laughed a little bit completed my fuel transaction.
She deserves a lot more than just this review I gave I was going to do a picture. I forgot my phone twice during, but will definitely get a picture next time. Thanks Nikki for all the great things you do. Thanks for being here.”

“Huge clean store. Amazing selection of products. Never really been Ingels fan, but had to find strawberries after Thanksgiving, and I went in. I really did not have time to compare prices with Kroger but if I lived in Cartersville, I would most likely use this store. Cashier Katie and the Bagger boy, Brandon,both were were very friendly and professional.”
