“I recently visited Victory North Savannah for Bingo Loco, and it was an amazing experience! The venue is fantastic, with a great indoor bar that kept the drinks flowing all night. There was plenty of stage room for all the bingo action, and the space was perfectly set up with ample room for chairs and tables.

The atmosphere was lively and fun, making it a great place to enjoy a night out. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Overall, Victory North Savannah is an excellent venue for events, and I can't wait to go back!”

“Great staff! Kimberly answered all our questions and was so sweet! The dock hand was great and they let us use a courtesy car car to get more provisions. The location was beautiful and quiet! We even got to tour the 2
Wormsloe Plantation. It was beautiful. I wanted to stay!

“We spent about an hour here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ship models were 2-6 feet in length and had histories of the ships displayed. More my husband's thing than mine, but it was well done and worth coming.”

“The Gingerbread House is an iconic residence located in Savannah, Georgia, known for its stunning Victorian Gothic Revival architecture. Built in 1899, this home is one of the most photographed buildings in the city thanks to its intricate decorations and old-world charm. The name "Gingerbread House" comes from the elaborate decorative details of its facade, which recall the motif of gingerbread houses, with intricate carvings and ornaments reminiscent of the work of a pastry chef.

Designed by architect Cord Asendorf, the house reflects the taste for detail and ornamental richness typical of the Victorian style. Among the most distinctive features are its decorated gables, carved wooden balconies, and bay windows which help give the structure a fairytale and welcoming appearance.

In addition to its architectural beauty, the Gingerbread House is famous for being one of Savannah's most popular locations for special events, especially weddings. Its interiors, which combine original elements with modern comforts, offer a charming and romantic setting for ceremonies and events.

The home is located in Savannah's Historic District, surrounded by other historic buildings, tree-lined parks, and cobblestone streets, contributing to an atmosphere that transports visitors back in time. The Gingerbread House is not only an architectural treasure, but also a living part of the Savannah community, continuing to host events and welcome visitors who wish to admire its unique design and historic character.

This residence represents a perfect example of how architecture can tell a story, preserving over time the charm and beauty of a bygone era.”

“Our wedding was the absolute best day of our entire lives all thanks to The Clyde Venue! The Clyde provides a unique space that nowhere else in Savannah can provide you. As a DIY bride, I admired the open layout with sleek, modern, yet neutral features and ESSENTIAL wedding furniture that ensured my guests would have a place to be seated and enjoy- without me having to outsource for the basics (i.e. chairs, bar, tables). More importantly, the staff at The Clyde is the most accomodating and professional wedding vendors I came across when searching tor a reception location in Savannah, not to mention, incredibly affordable and very worth the investment. Mallory, the owner, was so welcoming and inviting to her beautifully curated venue which in part led to our decision to look no further and book The Clyde for our Savannah wedding! Natalie, The Clyde’s go-to gal and coordinator, is quite literally the best in the business. She communicated with me so frequently and professionally, and allowed me to pursue the wedding of my dreams, no matter what design or idea or silly “hey, can we do this?” question that I threw her way. I can’t overstate how cooperative and flexible both Natalie and Mallory are with customizing your wedding- and I promise you that is not the norm for Savannah venues per my experience! From the event layout, to the add-ons (if you’re considering the trolley… do it) to the smallest details, and the incredible bar services (if you’re considering the open bar package… do it!!), The Clyde was such a dream. Natalie curated the wedding reception of MY DREAMS with what I gave her to work with, and I can say with assurance that I have absolutely no regrets about the day. I could have bursted into tears of joy to see the incredible custom and special reception venue that was put on display for our wedding. Guests have boasted to us for weeks saying that the night was one of the most fun and beautiful weddings they’ve ever attended, and that was exactly our goal!!! Seriously, The Clyde provides an experience that you won’t find anywhere else in Savannah and the staff, especially Natalie and Mallory, are simply unmatched. I hope every bride can experience this bliss of feeling like they found the absolute best venue and vendors! The Clyde will forever be so special to us for the rest of our lives and I urge you to pursue this venue if you’re considering! You really won’t find a better place in Savannah to celebrate the best day of your life!”

“Let me start by saying that Brockington Hall is a gorgeous venue! It truly holds the classic historical Savannah style beauty and is conveniently located downtown and near everything! The owner, Mr. Bonds, was an incredible host from start to finish. Being the procrastinator that I am, I desperately needed a venue to host my sisters baby shower at the last minute and Mr. Bonds saved the day! He is such a kind person and excellent host. He maintained communication with me in the days leading up to the event, helped us set up, and was available to assist throughout the time we were there. He was very accommodating and allowed us to utilize the space as we liked to set up for the event. We are incredibly grateful for his hospitality and hope to use this venue again in the future.”

“The Isetta Inn is a great historic home with quirky, unique vibes. Each room is different and the decor is detailed and amazing. We have now stayed twice, both times in the presidential suite.

It is located in a wonderful location close to the waterfront. Being this close to such a busy place will bring noise from traffic. The inn does thoughtfully provide earplugs.

A historic building, The Isetta Inn has so many wonderful features. This well loved and cared for building deserves to be seen if you ever stay in Savannah.”

“This country club changed ownership and its name in March 2018. There is a lot of history here. The golf course was designed by the Iconic Scotch architect Donald Ross in 1927. During the late nineteen twenties and thirties, this club was the gathering place for the New York and Chicago Mafia. The classic old hotel was originally named The Oglethorpe in honor of the founder of the state of Georgia. Connor was an outstanding fellow in the pro shop. He was so accommodating and helpful. The golf course is in good condition with impressive greens. There are 200-year-old oaks and pine trees surrounding the course. Water is used to intimidate on half a dozen holes with some tough carries. All holes have bunkering but do need a lot of sand added to upgrade from dirt. The restaurant there was a big and pleasant surprise. Their grille room was active on a Sunday afternoon. Aleigha was our very helpful server. My blackened grouper was amazing and the trio of shrimp salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad was tasty. My BW had the Caesar salad and the bowl of She Crab soup. Both of these dishes disappeared quickly. The new chef here is named Frank and he's a keeper.”

“What a beautiful, well appointed hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Cedric, offered a glass of champagne and sat in beautiful chairs to begin our check-inCedric showed us to our room and made sure we had everything we neededThe newly opened restaurant on the riverfront, Coastal 15, was wonderful! We had 3 different meals and all were beautifully presented and delicious - our only comment was that they weren’t as hot as could be, when we brought this to the attention of the restaurant manager after the 3rd meal, she was extremely apologetic and gave us a discount on our meal - this was not our intent, as we knew they were still on a learning curve, but was greatly appreciatedAll in all, we had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay at The Bohemian again!”

“Awesome Convention Center, the big downside is extremely limited parking. If you're going for an event, make sure to show up early to find something close. If you aren't able get there early, most times they have trolleys that will give rides to the center.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place!! The room was huge with two beds in one area and a kitchette with a sofa and tv in another area. The room was enough was what really makes this place special was the people providing service from the kind housekeeping to two amazing front desk workers. Overnight Dawn was gracious and helpful even after we had a small accident requiring new blankets and pillows on one bed. She got us new bedding and gave us a bag for the ruined bedding. The next morning Theresa was great during checkout, making sure we were good with everything and after a day of walking, allowed me back in to use bathroom after checking out and gave me food recommendations. 10/10. Would stay again!!”

“We had a great time playing trivia and the food was great. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is they are having staffing issues and not enough experienced servers were available. I feel this will greatly improve in the future when they are fully staffed.”

“This hotel was clean, historic, and the service was great. We worked with Josh during our checkin, and he assisted us with a small issue that we had.
He took the time to accommodate our issue and help us find a solution!
We would recommend this hotel to any friend or family member! Thank you Josh!”

“No coffee or microwaves in the rooms. Long wait for hot water in the shower, and a couple of times never got more than lukewarm. Free bicycles and helmets were nice. Friendly staff.”

“Shen Yun was a good performance. It was not worth the price point in my opinion. However, the dancing and the choreography was beautiful. Their use of colors was also beautiful. I don’t think I would’ve paid that much to see it but it’s definitely something I can check off my bucket list.”

“I booked this hotel in advance before my return trip from visiting my family in the mid-Atlantic region. I book exclusively IHG Properties when I travel, so it just so happened this Candlewood Suites was in the area I was stopping in; as well as at a great price point.Although I have spent many nights at IHG Properties, this was the first time I have been at a Candlewood Suites. Reading the reviews I didn't have high hopes but, considering it was about $100 for a night out the door; there was no way I was going to pay $60 more to stay at the Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express that were close by.When I arrived at 7 pm to check-in I was greeted by an empty front desk with a “be right back”, or something to that extent sign. The phone was ringing, and I just stood there for around 15 minutes; helping another guest connect to the Wi-Fi along the way. When the clerk finally arrived, he was friendly and was willing to move my room to my preferred, top floor. Based on previous reviews I was skeptical but, the room was very much recently renovated. Everything was in working order and the room was clean other than a few hairs that weren't mine that popped. However, that will happen at 90% of places you stay no matter what the flag or specific brand you stay in.I had no issues with noise and slept soundly through the night in a new and comfortable bed, which was very firm; which I like personally. I was tired from the night before and didn't need to be at my next destination until later the next day. The front desk called me in the morning to see if I was leaving that day or staying over. It seemed somewhat odd that they would call and ask since I only booked one night but, either way it wasn't a burden.Overall, I was very happy with my stay. I would not let previous negative reviews keep you away as it is clear that the hotel has recently undergone major renovations. To address the elevator comment made my other former guests, I did hear a very small amount of noise only when going up before it would stop. Other than that it seems thah they have rectified the issue.Rooms: Recently Renovated”

“When I originally booked, I was a bit hesitant because of all of the poor reviews but I take most people's complaints with a grain of salt. Boy, am I glad I did! The place was fantastic, and the staff was great. The room was clean and had all we needed for our stay. The entire staff start to finish was pleasant and answered any questions we had. I'd like to give a special shout out to the staff at the Toasted Barrel, the 2 bartenders working the nights we were there were great, and the manager was an absolute delight to chat with. Please don't rely on the nitpicky bad reviews. This hotel is great, clean and the staff is friendly. The location is within walking distance of a ton of restaurants and bars and there are plenty of trees for shade. Don't miss out on this gem!”
