“Very knowledgeable staff who can help you find just about anything or order it if they don’t have it. Excellent selection of both new and use books and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. They’ll even buy books you’ve read that are in good condition from you.”
“The owner is always helpful and has products for all budgets. The store has good staple items for fraternities and sororities. And the collection of literature written by black authors is great as the store features well known and up and coming writers.”
“Love this bookstore! It seems like someone's front porch but the bookstore is cozy and has a great collection of books. They have all genres of books, stickers, Agnes Scott Merch, and Knick knacks. There is ample parking in the back of the store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They carry a superb collection of books on "Politics of Place", "Women and Race", and "Children's Books". It is a reader's heaven and a perfect place to buy a gift. The books are moderately priced. They have month-wide events for readings and discussions. I highly recommend bringing yourself here with a cup of coffee and kindling your thoughts with some amazing reads.”
“Amazing book shop! The staff are magical elves with book knowledge as their superpower. They create such a wonderful space for kids and families. The camps and programs are phenomenal!”

“I have been blessed by LOMM in various significant ways: • gaining a better understanding of the importance of Passover in the life and ministry of Jesus through Murray Tilles's Jesus in the Passover presentation. • having the Bible come to life in a new way through Murray, Alana, and Anna Beth's insights into the places of the biblical events through the LOMM tour of Israel. • capturing a fresh vision for reaching people with the Gospel, especially the Jewish people through Murray's example and teaching ministry. • the staff of LOMM have enhanced my pastoral ministry and blessed Midway Community Church immensely!”
“I'd been driving past A Cappella for a few years now and had always meant to go in. Today was my first time visiting and I had an amazing experience! Both of the employees working were kind and helpful, with clear knowledge and passion for all things literature. Great selection of new and used books, and overall a wonderful, inviting little store.I'll absolutely be back!”
“There was a time all Atlanta had was Barnes & Noble, A Cappella, and Atlanta Classic Books. With the death of B&N, we have been missing a bookstore with a great selection of books both for adult and children (and they even have some games). And now here it is! With a more intimate feel than VaHi Books. I’m an A Cappella regular, but loved this spot as I can shop for our whole family. And the booksellers are very knowledgeable and are clearly proud of the store. 100% will be back.”
“Love this half proce bookstore, everyone in here is super nice and happy to help find books for you. Usually has some nicer copies of books compared to other locations.”
“What a nice and organized bookstore. Perfect if you're trying to find just the right book gift for a child in your life. The staff is super helpful too. Support a local bookstore!!”
“I thought this was a really cute and awesome bookstore. What drew me in was the Atlanta puzzles and the selection of books were right up my alley! They had some gorgeous Atlanta skyline art and I grabbed a cute magnet. Great spot for touristy gift or souvenirs and I also grabbed a book for the plane ride home. They had a section for "blind date with a book" which was cute and original.”
“Recently celebrated Marcus Garvey day with lots of conscious blacks and got a chance to meet Dr. Umar!!! It was a beautiful day filled with culture and energy!!!”
“Tons of books, a bit disheveled though…maybe after a few visits I would feel more comfortable but unfortunately I was only visiting. If you are a paperback fan there is a pretty massive selection (much better than the hardback for fiction anyway)”
“Like to shop here for vegetarian/vegan foods, a bit pricey, but has a good variety of selection. I am also able to feed my soul spiritually from the many printed word selections present. Highly recommend.”

“Love this bookshop! They have a varied selection of every genre, particularly different authors of different backgrounds, and the owners take so much care in making recommendations. Kids’ books have recommendations by other kids - highly recommend!”
“Great bookstore and reading room specializing in Black books, records, and paraphernalia. You can spend a good amount of time looking at everything, listening to the music, and/or talking to folks sitting at the center reading table.I picked up an incredible hard-back Langston Hughes book of poetry and design inspiration on my last trip (see photo). Recommended.”
“A nice B&N campus bookstore. Came up here to get a shirt for my daughter, but they had a full kids books section. Great selection of clothing although they need youth Emory Softball shirts ;) Prices are what you would expect at an Emory bookstore!”

“The staff & owners truly deserve 5 stars. They are always trying to help independent authors opening the store up to me and my novels. Allowed me to set up a table and sell my books at their events. Celebrities often are hosting the events. I met Terry Woods there. J Prince, Master P, Musiq Soul Child, Common, Stacey Abrams, Zane, and many other... Please drop through sometime I promise you will enjoy the experiences.”
“I would love to give this store 5 stars but one of the workers was very rude to me. I was visiting the campus and really loved the atmosphere and so I decided I couldn’t leave without a souvenir. I bought a pink Spelman sweatshirt and while I was still in line with two other people in front of me, the cashier who was an older gentleman yelled at me and told me I couldn’t pay for the sweatshirt upstairs and to go downstairs.I’m sorry I wasn’t aware, but there is a nicer way to inform someone of the rule. Luckily I received better service downstairs from the nice ladies, but I was slick about to put that sweatshirt back on the rack.”
“Went to an amazing event this weekend. Was the first time I've ever been inside the ACU campus. The parking was adjacent to the campus building we were headed to so no issues with parking. But even on the weekends it was $12! A lot! Also, the system did not read my ticket printed so I had to pay $24 to get out as they charge $24 for a lost ticket but the security help kept disconnecting the call so I had no choice. Staff - they had some CAU staff on site for the event but mostly event staff were present. Atmosphere - now the building itself definitely have HBCU vibes!! Loved everything about it! Nothing seemed dirty or too outdated. Everything worked in the bathrooms and the technology supplies were updated. I appreciated the school hosting the event and look forward to visiting for other events as well. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning. Thanks Brittney”
“Excellent instructors, inspiring learning institution. Security needs huge improvement. Several students vehicles are broken into every school Year without much effort. On campus and in areas off school property where students walk a short distance to school living quarters.”
“Ex Libris SCAD Bookstore in Atlanta is an absolute gem, reflecting the creative spirit of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The store's stunning design and vibrant atmosphere draw you in immediately. The staff are exceptional—kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to assist with any need, from finding specific books to offering recommendations. The beautifully curated selections and thoughtfully arranged displays create an inspiring environment where you can easily lose track of time exploring books, art supplies, and unique gifts. Ex Libris is more than a bookstore; it's a must-visit destination for students, artists, and anyone who appreciates a well-designed space. Highly recommended!”
“Fantastic location. Very very useful for GTech kids . There is a Starbucks inside too. Parking is a little bit of issue and is paid . It’s about 1$ an hour . Issue is getting a parking close to Barnes and nobles .
Lots and lots of GT merchandise .. but it is a bit expensive than the Merchandise store inside the college . There are some discounts in some products but it’s still expensive . A hoodie costs about 50$ and the adidas ones were 80-120$ . Tshirts were also a bit expensive. Good customer service . Overall a good experience for students and kids .”
“The place to find all GSU merchandise and stationery or supplies you need for class. Also great if you want to gift someone something with GSU branding on it. Also has quick grab and go snacks”
“Place is wonderfully AMAZING. And the people & workers are great communicators and make you feel perfectly greated they are the BEST AND FIND EVERYTHING YOU ARE IN NEED OF. <3 definitely be back”
